I've been riding moto for over 15 years and I recently just got into doing some woods races over the past year. I currently have a '16 Kawi 450 for my moto bike and a yz250 for a woods bike. I rode my buddies Ktm 350 in the woods this past weekend and thought that the bike was incredible! Seems like the 350 is the do it all bike. I can ride both woods and moto on it. So, should I sell both the 450 and the 250 and just go for the 350?

As an amateur racer/rider i think you cant go wrong with a 350f. Although i think the husqvarna would be more my thing Laughing ( looks )

Having multiple bikes is fun, but the 350 is a very cool bike. It's just as fast as a 450 if you are able to ride in the high rpms!

Get one. A 350 will be my next bike, they can do everything.

I would agree, sell the others, get a 350. One bike to maintain = more riding time....

Get the 350 but keep the 250 for a few fun days?

I wish more companies made a 350F. They are the perfect size for a do it all bike.

I say go for it but keep the YZ250. But I'm a bit biased there.

Don't sell the 250-I did and regret it constantly. Easy to sell, hard to get back. But get the 350 if you have the dough. It gets nothing but rave reviews.

350'S are awesome in the woods (ask Kailib Russell). If you do a mix of MX and offroad I would consider the 350xc-f. It is a true do it all machine

I agree which is why I went with the XC-F. It is great on the MX tracks and in the woods. If I was only doing MX, I'd go SX-F.

This.../\....ask anyone that has sold their yz250 and every one will tell you they regret it.

I know I do......hang on to your 2 strokes.

But get the 350....it's that good!

As much as I love my 2014 500 exc, its not in the same class as a 350sx. I always think my 500 is light until I ride my yz250 again to blow the cobwebs out of it. I've been thinking of trading my 450xc for a new 350xc, I've been reading good things about the aer forks and my 450 is getting up there in hours...

It sounds like you answered your'e own question. If you actually got to test ride it (which most people dont get to do) and you loved it then go for it and enjoy!

I have the 17 450 SXF and love mine, mainly used for moto.

Demo'd the 350XCF and XCFW and its probably the best all around bike IMO. For an old Vet racer that likes to trail ride between races, it is the jam. My 250SX is set up really well for offroad, but it doesnt hold a candle to the 350F. I'll have one next season for sure. This year its just not in the cards.

Yes!

And as others have said, the XCF sounds more like what you need. Myself, I got the Husky FE350S so I could go ANYWHERE.

Had both a rmz450 and yz250. Decided I liked both bikes but didnt have the need for two bikes anymore and got myself a FC 350. Im excited about this one.

Isn't there 3 or 4 companies that make one??

Does it really matter that the Japanese companies don't?? KTM, Husky, Beta.....will be happy to take your money.

Agree with keeping the YZ250.

I honestly love my yz250 and my kx450. I just have too many bikes at the moment, as I also have a yz125 that I did as a project bike but I have too much time and money invested in that one to sell anytime soon. Plus, ringing the tits off a 125 will bring you nothing but pure joy! So, i've been calling around to dealers all day trying to get the best price. I didn't realize that the 350's were such popular bikes and so tough to find. There is a dealership 30 mins away from me but they were $1,200 more than a couple of other places that were 2-3 hours away. I believe I can definitely drive a few hours for a $1,200 difference!

Well if you have to much on or can't be bothered, for $1200 I'll even fly over and drive for a few hours to pick it up for you. Seeing as your a fellow vital user and all

I went from 16 350sxf to 16 450sxf FE to 17 tc250 to 17 350SXF. This bike is awesome and sorry 2stroke lovers (i'm actually too) but this 350 is so much fun and i'm faster on it than 450. I race mx and cross country. I suggest you to get one for yourself and i believe you will be happy!

I rode 450s for years then recently went back to a YZ250F to unlearn the lazy 450 style. The 250 served its purpose, and after a demo the 350 is definitely where I need to be.

I'm planning on buying a Husky 350 in the next couple months. My dilemma is I ride about 50/50 track and desert so I'm trying to decide between the FC and the FX. Leaning toward the FX and buying a 19" rear to run at the track. Any of you guys have thoughts or experience with this method?
