Jeff I fell asleep right after the 450 semi 2 and work up right when the 250 main just started! I was like Holy Shit I can't believe I fell asleep and didn't miss much. I was tapping it so I was able to get up take a piss and grab a cold one and the main events woke me up for the rest of the night! They were defiantly probably the best mains in awhile!
How about Reed and Davi was flyin! and Hill was on a mission and was cool to see Shane get a good start after the LCQ and what outside Gate pick.
No way I would of missed that I would have been pissed!
I was wondering why I could hear racing in the background of that shit interview.
They are very slow and outdated in the making of images.
Now we prefer not to see repetitions, we prefer not to see the riders waiting in the star, now we prefer to see the action live, fast, the fights for position. We prefer not to see the last lap of the first alone, when there are riders back fighting for position.
Changing that, they have time for their commercials and interviews, and let's watch the races live, pure action, fast, that's what we want.
Television producers need to be updated.
I assume since NASCAR is on fox and that SX is on a sister fox station that the interview was nothing more the a pure promotional tie in.
It was very awkward and felt contrived and forced. I could see/hear the LCQ going on in the background. Couldn't watch it. Had to instead watch Danica's reaction to getting hit with a piece of dirt.
Why don't they take the camera into the pits? Let us see what's going on. There is so much value that could be in the production if you just look. Do you know that the pit stops at a NASCAR race are more popular then the race? Well, they are. People enjoy seeing the cars and teams getting work done.
It's like the production team just mails it in week after week. I mean I get it's not a football game or whatever but for fucks sake get creative and put some effort into it. It's like the Twitter segment. Are they being paid by twitter to do that? I hope so because it's the dumbest saddest segment I have ever seen. But they keep doing it. If they need to kill two minutes of time then cut to the pit camera. Give us something interesting.
Get a tie in with go pro and let us signup and follow a rider during a race. $5 or $10 a race. I think they could make a killing with that. The technology is available. Why don't they use it?
I dunno. I could go on and on. I'm happy I can watch most of the racing live. Just a shame that very little effort is going into the production.
Instead of the lame interview with Danica or the twitter crap why don't they interview the Honda team manager and let him talk about how the team is feeling after loosing KRoc. I'm not talking about a KRoc update but talk about the mood of the team. The mood of the remaining riders. Surely that is more interesting and valuable then watching the look on Danica's face after smelling a fart.
