I have a real issue with the 250LCQ not being shown on National TV
1) The LCQ is the only TV time the privateers get. I guarrentee that the LCQ exposure is a big part of their yearly proposal to their sponsors. No Televised LCQ = No exposure
2) If this doesn't change it will be the death of the Privateer
3) The TV Spot running is a Pro Circuit paid ad. Feld is charging PC for this and banking money.
4) LCQ racing is bad ass, it's one of the best races of the night.
If I was in the LCQ next weekend they should boycott the race, until they put it back on TV. Or the money that they are getting from PC should be added to the LCQ purse so these guys can race.
I enjoyed the piece on Forkner's family and the Mitch Payton bit, but I'd much rather have watched the 250 LCQ and even the KTM Jr's!! seems to me, middle America or whoever they are trying to entertain (besides race fans) would eat up the junior exhibition race.
My brother was in this race and was in a qualifying spot and went down, i just want to watch the race and cant find it anywhere. You would think i would be able to find it online somewhere atleast.
Probably very obvious to everyone else, but this concussed never was just got it. On average, we get extra laps/time via timed Main's and lose the 250 LCQ in the process.
- Go to 3 Heats in 450's to get to the Main
- Drop the 2 Semi's
- Bring back the 250 LCQ
- 450 LCQ just got a lot more interesting
- Producers/sponsors still get a desired amount of time
- We get a better program. Everyone wins.
250 lcq was always one of the best races. Guys that actually make some mistakes jus going at it all out. I'm really disappointed we don't get to watch those anymore

Broc?
Sucks for anyone that wasn't there because A2 250 lcq was a good race. I was stoked to see 3 guys I watched come up through local races in the top 4. There was some decent battling going in that tv viewers got screwed out of
They probably didn't bother filming or making a video of the 250LCQ. I wasn't able to find it anywhere either. Hopefully they go back to showing the LCQ this week in Phoenix.
I feel like a lot of you guys are like the frog that gets put in a tank of water, then it slowly gets heated at a rate it won't notice until eventually it's too hot and can't survive. How anyone is alright with them just deciding that commercials and "segments" are more important then actually showing the races, the things we actually want to watch, is confusing to me. Whoever made this decision can piss off, the whole damn thing is turning into an infomercial for a crap energy drink I'll never buy in my life.
Time, Time and Time. Longer races mean shorter TV show.
That's a joke, the LCQ is what, 5 minutes tops? Not to mention it's usually the best race of the night. There is so much bs and sponsored content throughout the "broadcast" that I think feld can afford to actually show all the races, just like they used to without any issues. It's greed, plain and simple, and it's a fat middle finger to all of us.

We're all excited for the timed main events but this is the compromise and we all knew that in general the races would be longer so something had to give, and I don't think the people sponsoring the series would be too happy if they took away from their advertising time.
Not saying this is the right way to do it, but if you put some thought into it before the season you would have expected this.

That doesn't make any sense at all. The amount of time elapsed from the the first gate drop to the final checkered flag does not change based off of whether they show the races or not. The races still happen in that time frame so the TV broadcast does not get shorter in time
They took the TV time to sell commercials during the LCQ.. it sucks.. I want to see what a lot of times is the best racing of the night! These guys ride hard to make it in.
Some races run longer with time than before with laps and they need throw away time and that's the 250 LCQ. Make money and be on time for longer races and finish in 3 hours.
Vital Mx members organize a protest, though the Feld Entertainment customer service line.
Let's say we designate a member to call at a specific time of the day, every day. Can't be too hard to make a 2 minute call every day, for the sake of the privateers. If we had enough members come together, it could make a real difference. Let's say we get 100 members (or less, if members sign up for multiple time slots)to get together and make a call at their designated time. That would be a call to Feld every 5 minutes, for the entirety of the 8 hour day that they are open.
We could come up with an outline, something like, "Hello my name is (name), I represent the motorcycle community from (city) and would like to express my interest in seeing the 250 LCQ for all of the 2017 Supercross rounds, etc. etc. etc.
What say you? A peaceful telephone protest, to fight for the little guy?

Really? Must have been more important to watch a 7 minute segment on Forkners father's pigs.

Exactly, it's complete bs and you guys are eating it up like candy. Why make excuses for the people that are literally screwing you over? What about Daytona, that race always runs long and they manage to fit everything in right? It's selling out, plain and simple.

5) It sucks to see my fantasy team go down because of a DNQ without knowing what happened to the rider.

I don't want to hear anything about being anti military either.
