I allways loved this type of husky B) The Italian Alessio Chiodi got 2 world titles on them in the late 90s!

Davy stribo or strybo won the 1st in 86 maybe, they gave me a 87 125 replica in 88 just so I could ride 3 classes.

The 125 was a great piece. When the 250 came out in 88 there were 12 of us on the team,in less than a month it was 3,me,Foley and Whitley.

The compression ratio was 14:1 and those guys didn't bother to look at the very detailed manual that came with the bike. It gave a octane of 110 or such and when they melted on pump gas those 9 guys blamed the engine.

It was a potent 250 but the suspension was jacked ,the rear linkage was a straight rate ,ever other mx bike had a increasing rate of shock travel to wheel travel, even the 125. Not sure what they were thinking. I snapped swingarms like bimonthly and had a shelf full of repaired ones.

They also sent a pack of levers, perches, cables, sprokets, grips, with each bike. Pretty cool.

Is it just me, or do the side panel number plates on the new Husky's and KTM's resemble the ones used on bikes back in the 1970's? What do you other "old" guys think? Here's a pic of Hannah's 1978 factory OW Yamaha for reference.

No disrespect to the current look, however for a Husky to be a Husky, it should be Red w/ Chrome panels on the tank.

I haven't ridden a lot of vintage bikes, but I couldn't believe how amazing a '73 Husky CR250 handled. Did they stand out back in the day?

Not sure if mine belongs here or not figured I'd let you judge. I always like the ICE bikes.

Thanks so much. Yes, it is supposed to see dirt at some point I finished it a few weeks ago and then got really sick and my work schedule hasn't cooperated which sucks.

I like that. Nice job with the yellow Husky logo and the matching seat accents.

Those husky are sexy as hell, but not a fan of the front fender. Why are all the bikes front fenders are oddly shaped

I had someone tell me that I should have put on the KTM front fender and number plate combo. I wish I would have thought of that. Supposedly Cycra has complete Husqvarna kits coming so will be interesting if they change the fender shape a bit or give you a KTM # plate and fender in the kit.

Our 3 16's...you've seen them before, but I really do love the look of Husky's...
