The wife and I were looking forward to going the Mil App race in San Diego a few years back when our son was at Pendleton. He ended up not getting leave and we scrapped plans at the last minute. Gave the tickets to another member of the military here on Vital to take his family that otherwise may not have been able to afford it. Good times!

My son got to pull some security gig at the Long Beach Grand Prix and then they had the Rally Cross out on the airfield where he is stationed at MCAS in North Carolina. Cool stuff, the sporting world seems to like our service members.

Not meaning to ruffle feathers. Its just weird from a world wide perspective. (Same with the pledge of allegiance being said every morning by school kids.)
It is SO COOL to know that you speak for "the rest of the world."

I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up have the best bike out there. When he was with MotoSport a few years ago that white camo all over the bike was sick.

Well, that's just it.

There's the U.S., and there's the rest of the world. And we like it that way.

Geico Honda

JGR wanted to honor not only U.S. troops who currently serve and who have served so heroically in the past, but all of the brave men and women that the POW/MIA organization represent. The National League of POW/MIA Families is very excited about this weekends race in San Diego, and the Chairman & CEO is personally is sharing this event and the live broadcast times on their social media outlets. As far as team sponsor logos, they do not move around much due to agreements, but the companies are all very supportive of this military appreciation effort!

I also believe that these kits will be available for sale from JGRMX.com in the near future, with a portion of the proceeds going to the POW/MIA cause! Good stuff.

Regardless of their look, proceeds from future sales of these kits is a great idea and an extended effort to make an impact.

Nicely done.

yeah we do things differently here. Hence why the USA is the only true surviving constitutional republic in the world.

f*%k what the rest of the world does.

Looks more like an average monster bro appreciation theme on those kawis. That honda though on the other hand looks pretty badass with a little more effort involved. Its cool to see what they come up with when trying to put effort into a certain theme rather than slapping on a graphics kit you might find on a clapped out KX off craigslist.

I'll admit I have mixed feelings when it comes to military appreciation at sporting events. There is absolutely no doubt that we should honor those that have served and especially ones that gave their life. It's just that sometimes these shows of appreciation border on using vets as propaganda.

Some teams have more leeway than others when it comes to changing their colors for these kind of events. Just as note.

Geico bikes look great especially with all the branches down the middle of the fender and KIA/WIA insignia on the front plate. The themed seat cover is a nice touch.

The gecko on the Geico forkguards is the best part. That's awesome.

Needs black shrouds but I'm just nitpicking. That little sliver of yellow probably grabs my attention more than most people.
