CMT CarboTanks for RM 2-strokes

BlackDiamond has talked with CMT about doing a Carbon Fiber fuel tank for our beloved RM 2-strokes. They have agreed to do it if we produce a minimum order of 10 tanks. I am assuming this is to be pre-paid. BlackDiamond has said the price is $775 shipped to us. Please respond to this thread to see if we can get the 10 tank minimum satisfied.

I am in for one.

Guys, check out the pics of the YZ 2-stroke tank. It uses the normal YZ shrouds and shows the tank just like the RMs and looks really freakin good. You see much more of this piece of exotica than if you cover it with shrouds. Also, graphics should stick very well to it, since the carbon shouldnt leach vapors like the plastic does.

Agreed - if the tanks are custom made why don't you just specify RMZ style? You Can't deny the beauty of that cockpit on the RM! Kissing

Would have to see it, the RM tank has more surface exposure than the YZ. To each their own.... Smile

I really have no room to speak because I don't own a Suzuki, but the RMZ shroud would make sense, I think the minimum order of 10 would double. And this bike pictured is Kick Ass bad to the bone.

Another "rmz shroud would be better" here.
Either way it's cool but my pockets aren't deep enough to buy them for both bikes. I would benefit more by paying for jumps and stuff to be built on my grass turn track.

Does your plan with the cmt carbon tanks for rm still exist? Was your plan to use OEM RM Shrouds?
