Pretty cool. Probably a Phantom 4. You can lock it on to someone and GPS will fly it while it chases the person.

Not a phantom 4, as it has its props mounted above the camera. And I'd give most the credit to whoever was flying it... impressive!

Probably a hand built racing style drone to have that speed, and the camera isn't hanging on a gimbal like most of the camera drones.

Impressive flying, wonder if that roost knocked it out of the sky or just covered the camera. lol

imagine how this will change warfare. A guy could have ten in his backpack that cost $200 each. oh wait its military $2000 each, but anyway with a small piece of plastic explosive in it. When he gets within a few feet, detonate. Very hard to defend from.

It's not a Phantom 4. You can tell by it's shadow plus the props on the 4 are above the camera.

Most definitely an fpv race drone with a guy with the 1st person googles. typhoon h has the best obstacle avoidance system as of now but wont go very fast but will avoid trees and follow a mountainbiker through a trail. It's used for all the x games events, nfl, pro surfing. It is hi tech where the phantom is a bit of a toy.
Ill tell you what the starwars drones are epic and my daughter and i have battles and they shoot each other out of sky.good times.

Glad you guys like the footage! This was filmed by a friend of our's that is a professional drone pilot - no phantom or large video quad would get this kind of footage in the woods (and they don't have brakes - a quick lesson learned when I stopped too quickly in one of those areas earlier in the day). We got the film to promote one of our upcoming races for the TORO winter racing series here in TX, and it's been awesome seeing this thing spread!

This stuff has some amazing potential! These quads are fast, and the range was pretty good, given the trees and brush (Tons of footage not in the brief clip!).

I already sent him a text letting him know that his video had reached vital (and finally gave me a reason to make an account).
