Lites guys are all out there pushing it, banging each other, flying off the track, going for it. It's great to watch!
I understand the premier class riders' need for consistency and keeping upright--being older and with kids, as many of them are--but from a spectator's point of view, the "comfort zone" riding that Short, Tedesco, Alessi, and everyone else besides the podium guys in SX class are doing is B-O-R-I-N-G to watch.
Wasn't the sport at one time a "passion" and not just a job to be protected and go through the motions? Do the other riders even ever tell themselves "I am going to win this race today!" ??

If you are trying to sound hardcore it’s not working.
15=19 minute races are for arenacross, supercross should be like 25-30 minute races.... and every rider should be trying to win..... factories should only sponsor racers that win races or podium at least that will light a fire under some of the non-podiumers.
