Everybody know's he was amazing through the corners, all the other pro's commented on it. I know i'm not the first to study it but after watching the 2004 east cost review i see he sits practically at the back of the seat as he hits the turn and hits the power.
Obviously creating more traction the the rear tyre, noone else had this style. Hence y James passed like they were going backwards

That track and those crazy berms were awesome. I'm not sure how it made for passing, but it was awesome to watch from a fans perspective.

Look at this clip at 1:19. Look how fast he gets the bike into the turn, leaned over, and is exiting. I've never seen anyone hit a corner like that before or after James.

The bikes with no bottom end force you to carry corner speed if you want to be fast.
Many riders now just don't get to do this because they go from a 85/100 to a 250f.
JS7 was one of the best 125 riders of all time IMO.
