Malcolm Stewart. Someone fill me in?

I feel like I've missed something along the way with the whole Malcolm Stewart situation. So he won a 250 sx title this year and then decided to sit out the outdoors because he's too big for the 250 and didn't want his stock to drop before moving up to the 450 full time in 2017? So how has it come to be that we're less than 2 months out from A1 and he's yet to have a deal finalised and all the big teams are full? I really don't understand, what was he doing all summer if he wasn't sorting out a deal for next year?

Stewart camp has always been secretive, sometimes to their benefit, other times not so much. I'd like to see Malcolm get a good ride on a 450, think he would do good.

Maybe nobody wants to deal with the dad?

Too bad cause I really like Malcolm. He seems like a great kid. I think he will do great on a 450. Somebody is gonna get a deal.

Malcom reminds me of Nate Diaz (UFC) they look up to their older brothers so much they make stupid career moves just like them. I like Malcom so I hope he didn't hurt his career to bad but he's nuts if he thinks he can do sx only at the start of his 450 career.

Ok, ok...I've asked this a bunch of times and nobody answers with any real clarity. What is the problem people have with Big James? I've never heard anything super negative about the man until now...not like the crazy stuff Tony Alessi has been accused of or anything. Yeah, he's involved with his sons programs...so what? Am I missing something here? I mean, why would a team balk at signing either one of the Stewart brothers because of their Dad?

I feel like he's a little boisterous and intimidating in stature, thus giving the notion he's a pain to work with. From what I've heard, that's not actually the case.

I think he's got a deal. It may not be the deal he wanted or deserves but he will be at A1.

He's retiring. He set out to grab a championship and now is done racing. They have plenty of money and his fishing guide business is booming. You guys should book a trip it was fun!
