Dude... You are NOT too old, just turned 43 and started riding again after 12 year break. I can promise you the youngest you feel is when you are riding... Just go have fun, twist the throttle and smile from ear to ear!!!

Finally got to put in a good day on my bike Saturday on a really rough track. Haven't had the chance to ride a lot so far this year. Factory Connection suspension worked great. I like the air forks and just made sure fork air pressure was correct.
I love the bike after coming off many years riding a 250F.
The bike feels a lot like my 250. FMF slip-on definitely sounds better than stock, plus it saves a little weight.

Only thing I need to do is cut my seat down, since I'm 5'6 it's a bit tall for me.
man I liked your graphics setup so much from decal works had to get one myself. just put it on with acerbics flo green plastics. just edited a few differences on mine. You bike looks great. Here's mine

I just bought one
Parked the 2011 YZ 250
Just so I can hear that smoker zing once a month

I love it
Tons of power and tracks well
I'm lazy and hate checking the air forks
So I make my son do it

Bought the son a 2016 KX 250F as well I love him like my dad loves me

Anyone using a frame grip like the Acerbis guard/grip? I shred tape in one ride so was considering the Acerbis.

Wonder if and issues or if they felt bulky at all...

Well last night I got a call from Scott at Hillsboro motosports and he wants to buy back the 05' RM250 I bought from them two months ago , for the same price I paid for it. I'm putting that money down on my new Kawi 450 today and may very well take mine home tonight. If that doesn't work out , I'll be bring it home in a couple weeks when I pay it off!

Excited as hell right now! Been off the 450's for about 1.5yrs and that new 450 just feels " right! "

Going to have to re-read through this thread for all the good pointers.

I have put a pair of the acerbis frame guards on my Yamaha and so far they have been fantastic!! I was using grip tape and as you said, one ride and it is wore right thru to the frame. I do not feel they are bulky or anything relative to that whatsoever.

You should look into the frame grip from Squid Decals. Lasts much longer than other frame grip. Not as good as frame guards but it will hold up a few weeks rather than 1 ride.

Acerbis does for sure, possibly Rtech as well. Rob Fox and others have posted pics on this thread with the flo plastic.

Anyone know of good OTD prices on the west coast... Seems most dealers don't like to answer emails!

Has your bike ever backfired when kicking and you felt it back through your boot? That is the cause of the above. If it tends to backfire either little ones a bunch of times or one big one will do it.
ask your self the following?
does the k/starter return to the original location ever time?
does it return slow?
do you somtimes have to pull it back up with your hand or foot?
does it engage in a slightly lower position than normal?
does it somtimes feel like it skips or slips before it grabs and kicks through?
any of the above symptoms and it might be time to pull the cover and look. if yours tends to back fire it is best to let the kicker return immediately. I dont think back fire is a very common thing these days.

They are the ones BTO uses. I believe he makes them for P3 as well.

I see pro circuit released their 2017 exhaust. it's a different part number from the 2016. fmf has same part number for 2016 and 2017 systems.

I talked to PC about it today. They changed the muffler a little bit for the 17. Physically the 16 and 17 are the same and will fit either or.

Cool, good to know, no idea why they wouldn't just update the 16 exhaust and sell it under one part number, seems to make more sense.

Anyone have an A kit on their 16? I'm about to swap mine over from my 250f. Will the shock fit? Anyone know?

I just bought a set of sff air a kit but it wont be here untill Thursday. I can't put it on untill end of next week I'll be out of town as well. Might as well try since you already have a set it should fit.
