Brayton is out- Going to Austrailia to race for Honda, is he not ?

I think that's Aussie SX that runs in the American off season.

Dean can absolutely win. Some people have short memories.
I think some people are just realistic. Dean did nothing this year to show he can win races. What Dean did a few years ago means absolutely nothing to the factory teams. Dean will find a ride, he may even find a really good ride, but hes no more deserving than most of the other top 20 guys looking for a ride at this point. I would give Bogle and Tickle a ride before him in a heart beat.

Relax guys, it was just a little jab. I'm not a huge Wilson fan, nothing specific, just little things that bug me about him.

That being said, he is a talented rider, so hopefully he finds a ride. Though I doubt it will be with RCH.

Wilson has never been the same rider since he tried to manhandle Tomac in Seattle SX 2012,
Tomac went on to win the 250 West title and Wilson has had nothing but bad luck ever since.

He's a great rider and seems like a pretty nice guy. Hopefully he'll land a ride with a team that has good equipment and the resources to compete at the top level.

Somehow you forgot about him running down JS7 for a heat race win on a Team22 Kawi.

Back when JS7 was virtually unbeatable in heat races.

I think that's the race that got him on Red Bull KTM.

Nobody on Team RCH's radar other than DW15 have ever shown that speed on a 450. It's not his fault he blew out his knees two years in a row.

Not to forget he is the only National Champion...2012 250 National Champion.

I agree 100%. We still haven't seen what Bogle can do on the big bikes so he could have a break out year. The other guys have all had plenty of time and chances to show what they can do so my money would be on Bogle. I would still give Wislon a ride too because I dont think we have seen his best either with all the injuries.

I think when Dean's balls drop (if they ever will) he'll be a great 450 rider..

No way...

Deano is a national champ, would have more wins in 250Sx and unlucky to not get a title really, where as Bogle was the definition of getting lucky for one...

And again, like Tickle, they're really close to a wash for injuries...

Well I hope Wilson gets a ride. I hope he can realise that he is still very young and his carrier isn't necessarily over, although knee injuries can be the worst things...
I like Wilson, he's a Scotsman and has more personality than most of the upper echelon guys, he's a funny kid, highly amusing to listen to. The thing about scottsmen is they can be very stubborn and very determined, that win or die trying attitude. I think his old man is pretty grounded and pretty smart and a good adviser to the kid.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Deano turn it all around and become a real contender for podiums...he has been so unlucky, maybe his luck will turn.
If I were a team manager, I would make a decision on how strong his knees are now after all that surgery and if I were satisfied that they are good , I would sign him, because he has un tapped potential, already knows how to win a championship, has come from a struggling family from the other side of the world to live his dream of racing in the USA , he is still very young and he is great value as a personality ....funny and charismatic.
I like Wilson....hope his luck changes!

strong showing at the gp's? I like deano and really hope he gets a good ride but his gp results were more than disappointing.
9/12/2016 5:13am
The problem with Deano is that he's had so many injurys in the last few years, once he settles in he's bloody quick, half the time though by the time he's settled in he gets injured.hopefully his luck will change next year and can really show some pace

And what are you gonna do?

Tickle is already there, and Weimer would be a great choice! I'd frankly love to see RCH go with Tickle, Weimer & Wilson. That would really be a damn strong team. No title rider...but all solid top-10 guys!

Hmmm...i just think Bogle has more potential than Tickle & Weimer.

I think I'd go with Wilson, Bogle & Weimer at RCH for 17
Tickle fits well at RCH from what I've read, and gets along well with everybody. Good tester too. I think he's been more consistent than Bogle too.
9/12/2016 6:11am
JS7 = Suzuki, RCH = Suzuki divided by when hell freezes over = Not a chance in a million life times but that would be some funny stuff. I could see Ricky with a shit eating grin on his face.

Speculation has been that Tickle and Bogle will be their riders in 2017, with Weimer possibly being a 3rd guy.
As talented as Deano is, the knee issues worry me, and I am sure prospective teams are concerned with this as well. If I was a team owner I would sign tickle and weimer before Deano. Bogle and Deano are at about the same speed right now, but again, with Dean's knee issues, I think bogle will be picked up first.

Stewart's contract extension for 17 had a performance clause that James didn't meet. There is no contract between James and Suzuki.

I'VE heard two rumors on Dean, Europe and TLD KTM.

How much time have Bogle and Tickle missed through injuries since moving up?

I get that. So, are there any reasonable rumors regarding where if anywhere that Stew might land? Like many others, I just can't see him on a mid-tier team bike...although with his results of late (or the lack of them), that shouldn't suprise me at all. Really, it would be more like "would Stewart lower himself to be on a mid-tier team"?

Back on your Deano rumor...that sounds like it might not be a bad deal. Good bike, good team support...and Wilson seems to kinda dig the Euro scene. I think he'd be a great injection of US-style intensity and speed into the GP scene.

Bogle and Tickle have missed a number of rounds, but I think Deano' missed more rounds than he attended in his two year tenure at Redbull KTM. Not to mention that one of his knee blowouts was from tipping over in a corner. SOme people just have weak knees, and unfortunately I think that may limit Deano's options.

I still think Bigle and Tickle are hotter commodities. especially after tickles good results outdoors.

Maybe I'm missing something here but RCH is not a mid tier team anymore. They are the Factory Suzuki team. So what do you mean. Everyone keeps saying would he lower himself to a lower team but it's literally the same program just different sponsors and better people. Yoshimura Suzuki is no more

No doubt Deano has missed more but that's due to nothing but bad luck, as you say, they were knee injuries, but I wouldn't take Tickle and Bogle out of the glass-jaw corner yet. They're broken more than about anyone but Dean, and again breaking limbs all the time and not having a ligament go is just down to luck... and not the threat Dean is when he's fit.

They're all likely similar money you'd assume. Weimer too.

Blake is going to BTO. I thought that was known on here. Matthes has mentioned it many times also. I'm not an insider or a know it all I just thought that was known info on here by now.

I should have made myself more clear. I don't consider RCH a mid-tier team at all. And, yes they are now Factory Suzuki. I guess I should have said, that if he doesn't land on a Suzuki for RCH...a mid-tier team is pretty much all that's left, and I can't see JS7 in that situation.

That said, I feel like he would have come out and announced his retirement if he didn't have anything top-level lined up for 2017 by now.

I agree that Dean is likeable, talented, and deserving of a good ride( maybe not full on factory at this point, glassjaw imho). One thing I don't agree with is the "but he's still young" sentiment. He's not! He's 25, that's not young in pro motocross, you guys should all know that.

Since when is a knee injury bad luck? 2017 will be interesting for sure to see where people land and who steps up to the challenge.

It's an interesting discussion, as mentioned Dean proved he can win but can he win now? Hahn has also been proven to win but do people really think he'd win on a 450? The past isn't the present.

Interesting on TLD...is he still eligible for 250SX? or is it 450 indoors 250 out?
