This year. How much faster than him Roczen was this year. I fixed it for you. That's not been the case the majority of the time Roczen has been in the States

With this victory, Eli moves past Ryan Villopoto on the all time MXGP wins list. 2 to 1.

Not trying to be an ass..........

But you guys don't have a clue about motocross history.

The late Donnie Schmit is the American rider who has won the most MXGP's with 15 victories.

Eli rode great and won these races enough of the well if this guy raced or blah blah blah.

He won from bad starts and was way faster than the field.
And the mxgp field is a great group of riders.

Huh? Neither one of them said he had the most MXGP victories by an American. We are awed by your knowledge of moto history though

I stood there the whole second race. By far the fastest through thst section. It wasn't even close. It was unbelievable how he went through it.

pretty sure he was saying that Eli has 2 wins to RV's 1 win. Not that they're #1 and 2 on the all times wins list.

It makes me wonder, IF Roczen wasn't there during the nationals, would Tomac and us fanboys still talk about how he wasn't 100% with his bike?? Just a thought. Not having a dig because Tomac is my favourite rider off the track. (Roczen on the track) and he has heaps of speed (25-25-25-25) but its just a passing thought!

Don't kill me over this but maybe you guys can shed some light on this

Wow is right! I would have loved to see KR94 on the line today. ET3 still needs to attend John Forces holeshot clinic but what an animal! I watched him trackside with my own eyes scorch that track, he was on the pipe further down the hills and somehow braking enough to rail the corners. The live timing didn't lie, he was stealing multiple seconds per lap from some of the worlds best......you could even see by their lap times how demoralizing it was for the 222 and 243 when he blew by and checked out! It was like you could hear them say, "are you fucking kidding me"! I was in awe to say the least, very impressive Eli!

I think it was more a play on words as the class hasn't been called MXGP for very long? Love me some Donny Schmit, being a Minnesotan. 125 and 250 GP Champ!

Not only Max. I think the GP riders in general looked unmotivated an sluggish the last couple of races and I'm a bit dissapointed. But then again, it was the last race of a long season and there was not a lot to gain for them anymore. Fortunately the US riders rode passionate. They all were fun to watch and their wins were more than well deserved.
I wouldn't be surprised if the respect the GP riders gained lately is gone again in the US.

Its a shame nobody else stepped up and did the race. props to Eli , although he made it clear he was being made to do the races, at least he did them.. the rest of them, I hope your trainers stroked you enough to satisfy your ego's , riding at your 'compound'

J Mart was good, showed his class, shame the MX2 field was so thin, but that's what you get for scheduling 2 races that costs a fortune to attend , at the end of the season.. Always used to be the same when it was in Japan.

He's 22nd overall.

Desalle finished 20th overall in the 2013 Outdoor Nationals having also only done two events - and he didn't even come close to winning a moto.

Man that was the Eli we saw there in 2015. Hard to say if Kenny would beat him or not, but you have to believe he'd give him a run. But man if Eli can keep this going for 2017 he could have a pretty good year.

Eli had 24 motos to show Roczen this "2015" Eli and he won 3 motos now suddenly everyone who was saying Eli and the Kawasaki don't gel, are saying he's finally back from the shoulders and has the Kawasaki dialed. Dizzy

All these GPs did was show just how great Kenny was in 2016

Put down the pipe.. You think Kenny would have been 7-8 seconds per lap faster than Cairoli/Gajser?

X2. ET passed and beat the top racers in the world while at the same time kicking them in nuts.

Roczen was better all year, nobody can deny it.
BUT Tomac looked pretty damn comfortable this weekend. Apart from Southwick I don't think I've seen him look like that all year. I don't know if it was the bike or his head because the 94 wasnt on the line, but if he shows up like that next year, the others better be prepared.

As a half german I'm probably gonna cheer for Eli and against Kenny next year for the first time since 2012 Whistling

I think Eli would've had Kenny's number yesterday without a doubt. He undoubtedly rode faster and a lot smoother then when he won at Southwick and Washougal and we seen Kenny pretty much pull over for him and let him by b/c he couldn't hang with him at Washougal. Whether that's due to a new setup or the stars just aligned for him yesterday who knows. I'm a fan of both riders but lets be real here gentlemen, Tomac was unbeatable yesterday regardless who lined up to the gate with him. It was his day.

re: Roczen....In order to win a race or be factor in a race, one must first show up to race. Roczen did not. Roczen is no more a factor in who might have beat Eli than Brad Lackey or Jeremy McGrath.

12 races vs 18....big difference in available point totals...not that it really matters because I don't understand the point everyone is trying to make.
