Needs to be a 2011 or newer currently I believe... 5 years for AMA right? Suzuki had 2012 two strokes down here but I think they got shit-canned way before that in the US...

They've looked the other way for privateers in the past. Just because everyone thought it was cool to see a KX250 or RM250 going for it. But this is slightly higher profile. Would have been cool!

I just died a little more inside.

It was sweet when Kailub Russell raced a 150 last year in the last couple GNCCs. KR1 and KR1 want to race 2 strokes? coincidence... I think notLaughing

We should start a petition?! haha. I think the rule should be amended for last gen 2 strokes, or maybe a 1 race max if the rider/team wanted. Unfortunately it will never happen...

Like posted in the other thread, AMA has to have a frame and other engine parts to compare measurements from the homologated bike. They don't want to hold onto 10+ years of parts so the cap was placed at 5 years.

Ken might just be attempting to get a rise from the masses with this post. That bike looks like it might be missing the critical component that would make it a 250 and/or a two stroke. Would RCH be building new bikes for Roczen at this point, other than those required for him to finish out his contract? Isn't that the main issue with riders switching teams and skipping the MXoN?

Why not just build a Suzuki RM250AF? Just put the 2 smoker in a 2016 frame? Would that make it legal to race?
