From strictly a fans perspective, I would gladly give up Monster Cup, SMX Riders Cup, and Straight Rhythm if it meant MXDN got better attendance from American riders. It appears the economics of it all are against me though.
When do you think was the last time that America actually had it's three top guys for MXDN? 2011 is probably the right answer.
If Webb races the US GP's and MXDN he's starting down the path of legendary status IMO.

That having been said, and I know they came up just short, but I was a huge fan of how Team USA
rode THEIR FUCKING ASSES OFF last year. They were great. So if Barcia, Webb and A. Mart or Savatgy go, I'm all for it.

Is it time to possible reduce the size of the schedule by maybe two weekends, one SX and one MX.
Or reduce MX by 2 weeks after, the riders complain theres no money in mx after all.
Bring the MXON forward and the whole world MX scene into sync.
Why is there a two week break now, why isn't this added between sx and mx so riders can regroup?

I've served 25 years and counting in the military and I get the patriotic aspect of the race so don't get all bent on that part. These guys are pulled in 20 different directions throughout the year, 17 SX, 12 MX, MEC, now 2 USGP? That is insane, how many rounds do the GP riders do and then only hit MXdN and a couple euro SX rounds.... Hardly a caparison.
Before you get bent at Eli I would look hard at Feld and manufacturers forcing the extra long SX and MX season and Monster for the MEC and USGP commitments... Just my humble opinion

I just think with them changing teams Yamaha won't be so willing to give them bikes to ride. Especially setting up a 450 for either one of them.
