I have mine all taken apart. The guy that I bought it from clapped it out pretty good. Fun project though!

I keep coming back to this thread just to remember what Pete24 said. I don't know why, but I find it hilarious. I guess it's just funny to imagine how pissed he must have been when scrolling down. "jesus H jesus you fucktards don't know shit about pitbikes, I invented them..." Lol, they're just bikes, dude. No need to lose your shit. Laughing

That's what I have with an 88 kit and other stuff it's still a total turd.
I was thinking more along the lines of cruising around town with my kids or having the kids themselves ride it, not competing for the pit bike Supercross championship of the world. If my shoe lace hits the kickstarter this thing fires up. Runs like a Honda.

It's not a pit bike to me if it had a clutch. How are you suppose to cruise and hold a beer with a clutch? I been rocking a crf110
You might want to clarify that and see a hand clutch because believe it or not the XR 50s do have a clutch it's just operated in the foot if you take and put your foot under the shifter you can lift it up and slipper clutch like a normal liver bile lifting up and feathering the gearshift her it's kind of weird first but once you get used to it it's pretty cool in my buddies just to do it all the time go ripping through corners

Glad I kept the 2004 klx110 that someone else put $ into. It sat the last 9 years.
I can chase my son and nephew around on the klx110 while they learn on the pw50 and jr/kdx50.

Anyone have a front and right side number plate for newest style jr50/kdx50?
All I can find is oem which is way too much.
White or green preferably. No cracks. Thanks

1983 XR200. Roomier than a mini for my 6'3" frame.
-Race Tech Suspension front and rear
-High compression piston
-Slightly more aggressive cam
-Larger intake valve
-Larger diameter exhaust pipe
-12/52 gearing (stock is 13/50)
-Kawasaki colors
-1979 KX125 tank
-KX450F footpegs
-Bar risers (up 1" and fwd 1")
-1/6 turn thottle
-30mm carb (26mm stock)
-K&N air filter

The bike is an absolute blast to ride. I compete in a class called the 2x4 class. There are only three rules.
1. Air cooled
2. Four stroke
3. 230cc max

Thanks. I wish I could take credit for this but I can't. This bike was dreamed up and built by Vintage Iron here in California.

I don't know about a resurgence, but we like them here.

My brother probably won't be happy with me posting his "ktm" since its not done but it looks pretty cool, just a little more to go.

All bikes are 110Ls, stock motors except the red one with no graphics has a 143 cylinder. It's waiting on some trey canard grahics.

Nice! I thought about getting a 110L. But I'm getting old and the KLX140 isn't as cramped.

I'm 5'8" and the 110L is good for me. My youngest brother is 6'2", it's a little cramped for him by he's still the fastest
