The MSC Teutschenthal is the next one to take a step back from the GPs. Local news stations reported this two days ago. Due to financial issues they will almost certainly not hold a GP next year, in order to not endanger the club. Youthstreams demands are too much for the moment. There's talks about Gaildorf or Lausitzring to step in, at least the Lausitzring has shown interest, even to get it long-term.

GL looks up to F1 as the business model he aspires to reach....maybe he would like to think of himself as a Bernie Ecclestone, there is very little about F1 that the average fan finds attractive.
Compared to staging a dutch or german national GL has one additional cost: tv production. It's insane that the riders accept to pay 1.000 euro entry fee, where they should be getting a couple of grand for making the show.
Having F1 as a model is a true sign of no vision for a sport that couldn't be any more different in motor racing terms.
F1 is based on TV and guess what there ratings are dropping their sport has become boring the tracks are shithouse the racing is really only racing in the pits.
Until someone starts a renegade series with good money to attract away the riders especially the privateers then the robbery will continue. imagine how shithouse it would be if all the privateers were taken to a renegade series now this wouldn't look good for TV would it? the start of YS crumbling.
