Honda Ruckus

Does anybody own one? Me and a few friends are thinking about picking up a few to ride around the city.

Me and a bunch of my buds all got some a few years back. It was a blast ripping around on those things. Although it got scary riding those suckers on PCH, especially with a little side shore wind. In city's they're perfect. Any open area or long stretch without stop signs or lights and they can get a little sketchy as people tend to blow past you pissed off at holding them up Woohoo

fully tapped with an adult on it they'll go about 35 MPH tops, a little more down hills and/or with a tail wind.

Obviously the Honda Grom is a better choice as the 125cc engine provides more oomph than the 50cc Ruckus. But they're more $$ too. You can find used Ruckus' on CL for around $1,000-$1,500

good luck!!

WU TANG CLAN ain't nothin' to F with!!!!!

I'll place my vote for a Grom, too. Bought one last August, love riding it in the yard, down to the mailbox, to the grocery store, etc. It's an easy 10-15mph faster than the Ruckus. When the street tires wear out I'm going to put dual sport tires on mine. Scooters are fun too, but the Grom is the cat's ass.

Where can you find dual sport tires for those?
