After watching the Josh Grant Story and him saying that he just does not want to race anymore it would be a shame to not see him out there because he still can rail. I bet with all the ups and downs it must be tough, but I hope he can have some more really strong races this year and get a good deal for the next few seasons. And when he does hang it up I hope its on a high note. Cool

He's been killing it so far. Honestly, I think he's found his mo-jo again, so pumped for him.

Yeah he's been awesome. Who'd of thought he'd be doing as good as Tomac? So pumped for him right now.

So pumped for him and Kawasaki getting some exposure.
Ver impressed how comfortable and consistent he looks. In such a stacked field, there is some big names on big pay checks (Assuming) finishing behind him.

Sometimes you don't know what YOU HAD till it is gone. Maybe sitting at home at the beginning of the SX season made him realize that.

Wasn't that many years ago that Josh won Red Bud. I'd love to see him and Barcia get in the mix there with the current podium trio.

He's so talented that every race he puts together is just going to make things better.... there are a few guys like it but it's so hard to break the cycle. Josh seems like he's been really putting in to do so, hope it continues!

There may be some truth to that. I think some of these trainers get the riders on such a strict program that their body and mind do not even function properly.

I gotta say Josh Grant has been very impressive coming off the couch from Daytona forward to now. This field is as deep as we have ever seen it and his pace is consistently in the top ten.

He also didn't want to ride for free. I know he had at least one offer from the GPs to ride for the grand total of...travel expenses.

I thought RMZ was just implying that this new found drive that Grant has now is maybe just coming from the thought that Grant realized he does like moto more than he realized?

Just money doesn't seem to motivate as much as love of something.

RCH offered him a ride as well, but he passed and Weimer got it. It was the smartest thing he could've done, even though he really wanted to go racing, the salary wasn't enough to make it worth it in the long run.

His aggressive yet smart racing has made me a fan this year. I do remember him running over a downed RV in SX long time ago (not a fan) and annihilating Alessi in a National (no comment). Hoping the 2016 JG finishes top 10 Outdoors. Be great for his family, sponsors and fans.

It would have been awesome to watch him on a Zook. But he seems to have the Kawi set up great for him and he is riding great. If Kawi is smart they will resign him for next year.

And what happened to Weimer - I know his RCH deal was SX only but he was doing well. Thought he would have been able to get a MX ride. Bummer he is not out there.

Weimer had his plate and hardware removed from his arm, post SX. This was planned for a while.

I didn't realize you were doing "as good" as someone if you were over a full moto down after 3 rounds...

Never been much of a fan of him, don't really know why but he's been doing really well and I hope he gets a good deal for next year. After I heard what had happened between him and his mother I couldn't help but root for the guy.

Considering Tomac was expected to be winning and Grant was just an after thought I would say Grant is having a much better year and he's getting paid a whole lot less then Tomac. Unsure

Weimar would not be sitting 6th in points like Grant in to date for outdoors. He is killing it and racing into it. Im happy for him and the team.
