The point being that the US is bigger than the individual Eurpoean countries? I don't think anyone missed it, but it's pretty much stating the obvious over a drawn out teasing thread. Waste of time.

NC would do pretty good right now with Webb, McElrath, and Jordan Smith.

From the past: Bradshaw, Stroupe, Rodney Barr

Perhaps you need to make a point to be missed.

I think this thread is kind fun--pick your top 3 from any state / country! It reminds me of the glory days of Belgium and Sweden, Cali and Texas, so enjoy and reminisce! I like Howerton, Steve Wise and I think Short Stack was from here, too right? That's an 70s-80s powerhouse!

Regal was in TX for a fairly long time, came from Michigan.
Hahn brothers from Kansas, still live here.
Lemoine came from Louisiana, but has lived here a long time.
Demuth, yes from Ohio, but won his first championship in Arena cross as a TX citizen.
Howerton from Texas
Biseglia, I believe is from Texas
Cunningham, I believe is native as well
Hawthorne, native
Bogard, Texan but he really never set the world on fire. Any championships?, or factory rides?
Wharton brothers, Texas natives I believe.
Short, everyone knows he's from Colorado
Oldenburg, been here a long time, (Oak Hill) too, but alas, even they came from Minnesota
Squires, (Austin) lived around N. TX for a few years. He was a really cool guy, but I believe he was out of MA
