He brought a bit of goodies for the Honda he rode, including his Ohlins suspension. A week later with one day of testing on a new bike won't make him top ten... Suzuki will have Blake back for Colorado.

Factory Suzuki has become a joke since Dungey left. Regal,Faith,Blose or Hayes could fill in. Bad luck for the riders but at least show up with some guys that will put it on the track.

Faith is taking the summer off before Australia SX... Hayes is racing MX2 in Canada for Leading Edge Kawasaki.... I believe Regal is healing up from a shoulder injury he had late in the AX season.

I'll start off the why nots...

Fill-in riders as a whole: Yoshimura Suzuki doesn't have a large outside-title sponsor, so it doesn't seem like they're required to race... thus no need for fill-ins.

I was told yesterday, that Blake's initial plan is to have his collarbone plated asap (probably Monday morning) and race Colorado.... meaning he'll only miss Glen Helen.

Other riders...

Josh Hill: Full-time job for Monster right now, just rides for fun.

Ronnie Stewart: Ronnie also suffered a shoulder injury yesterday.... plus, his team is built around him, he needs to stay put.

Freddy Noren: Freddy is Honda's test/development rider for the race team, and is getting hand me downs for his current program and Rocky Mountain ATV/MC... Such as works suspension and some other items.

Ben Townly: I don't even need to explain that one...

Nick Schmidt: Nick didn't even race Hangtown... He's quite good in Supercross, but not as good in Outdoors...

Malcolm Stewart: Even though Malcolm isn't racing Outdoors for Geico, he's still contracted to the team.

Todd Waters: He's racing in Australia for the new Suzuki team there, correct? Yoshimura Suzuki doesn't need to have fill-in riders, so there's no reason to steal from another Suzuki team.

Jimmy Albertson: Jimmy has his own team...

To wrap it up... Since Blake Baggett will likely only miss one week of racing, I doubt there will be any fill-in riders at Yoshimura Suzuki.

No he wouldn't. Do you really think he'd beat any of the following: Roczen, dungey, Tomac, canard, barcia, musquin, Anderson, seely, grant, Bogle, tickle, peick, Nicoletti, without incidents of course. Not happening. He's a 15th to 20th place rider no matter what bike he's on.

it's a stacked field that historically gets thinner as races go on and he was running with some names of the names mentioned. Yes he's capable

To those saying its a factory team they can sit idle....WHAT THE TRUCK! It's business. Workers getting paid for nothing, bikes being built for nothing... Good lord. Exposure is everything. Chances are some full in rider will gel with the ride and pull some good results..

Blake is pretty vulnerable coming back early with a plated collarbone- he won't be hanging it out when he's back early on the bike. One dig and he could be out for the season if lands on it.

Give Nico Izzi a shot if Suzuki want publicity, it would be great for him to get out there on good equipment and feel the love

Throw Michael on James' bike. He'd go 22-0.

Actually, it'd be 0-1... Because they would take the bike back after one try!

I heard the latest Saturday night and it was not good. Think he made it 42 days before going over the bars again.

Best choice so far.
Remember when Hamblin filled in and then stayed for a while.

I don't think they'll get fill in riders. Baggett will be back in a few weeks and James, who knows. He could be back or he could be done for the summer.

How come no mention of Weimer? He wasn't at Hangtown, that I recall. Neither was Collier, who usually races the event.
