And why would someone pull down a thread where people speculate a possibility of Barcia doing the Lommel GP when he actually started a poll about him racing the Lommel GP on his Twitter?

The thread didn't even get out of hand!

Well, i hope he does the Lommel GP. It would be awesome for everyone at the race and for everyone that watches the GPs.

I don't know, I can't help but notice the digs in racer head towards gp's since RV raced last year. I'm wondering is the US media scared another one of their riders wants to race the world championship.

I don't understand why this would be a problem , then they could definitely say an American is the fastest rider in the world if they won the championship, but certainly they are afraid of their riders racing MXGP instead of their national championship

Maybe his sponsors and team didn't take kindly to it being leaked and put pressure on the site mamagement? I bet you'd be suprised how many calls and emails ML and GuyB get from industry folk about the content of posts.

Perhaps JGR would like him to post and promote about the series he is involved in and focus on the AMA nationals and possibly a championship instead of mxgp.. I'm sure they expected more at this point and rightfully so with a rider of his caliber.

also to shut down the rumors that he will race mxgp next year. he won't go anywhere till 2019 (contract through '18 with jgr). he loves the team and wants to stay with the them as long as he can (if they want to keep him after '18, he is very likely to stay there!). however for his next contract (with a different team) he could see himself going to mxgp. he talked about it in yesterday's dmxs show.
