honestly, it's no one's business why. Getting clean is hard enough to do in private much less with with an audience and being the poster boy for MX addict sobriety . He's had pressure on him since a child.... He probably could use an environment that's different than the one who fertilized his addiction. my 2 cents.

Anyone who has been addicted only has "today" anyway.. why they say "one day at a time" I've seen people clean 20 years go back to the vomit when they started thinking they were "cured" or "recovered" Just my opinion every one has got one. Mine comes from a family and personal history. I know way more about it than I would like to.


Perhaps he just left there ..... doesn't mean he's using. For me, once I got past the withdrawals of Opiates using a short Suboxone taper they were a non issue. Perhaps Nico want's to live a quiet life, go to meetings, see a therapist etc..... riding Pro MX inevitably will leave you in the ER and jacked up and in need of pain relief sooner or later.

You know it does matter why, He might of had non drug related issues or a relapse and if it's a relapse people need to be warned because many will just remember the back on track part when approached.

So yes it does matter.

I've been reading about your program, it's a great thing you're doing,
I wish you the best. My son went down that path, hooked on oxy due
to injuries, buying it on the street, then switched to heroin.....once he
got through rehab, I suggested he go out riding with me one day,
(he hadn't ridden a dirt bike in over 12 years-), after that, he was
hooked....I helped him get a bike, he's been clean & sober ever
since. We go riding together every weekend, life is great-

This is why I am not sure it is a great idea to throw a newly recovering addict out on to the media with lots of fanfare. It WAS everyone's business when he was doing well as videos were made of him and plastered all over everywhere. Now all of the sudden, when I guess he isn't doing so great, it's no one's business? That is just too much pressure to put an addict under! Wait until the guy is at least one year sober before you throw him to the internet masses.

Your welcome to your opinion bud. I applaud every addicts positive steps...I've been there....and dealing with my own demons was the hardest thing in my life to do. I also believe that if we kept throwing out positive vibes on the media it may help save a life. 150 people a day are dying from opiate overdose. Everyone has no problem looking and listening to those horrible numbers. I would much rather hear about what someone is doing in an attempt to beat their addiction. Even if it's only for a snap shot of their journey, successful or not successful positive parts of the journey is way more influential. In my opinion.

Just a few weeks back there were posts going around the internet about Nico using his semi celeb mx status to sell a bunch of stuff which never got delivered. I always appreciate a heads up about a lying, cheating thief amongst the dirt bike community. I wish him well, but if he is continuing down the wrong path when people are reaching out to help, then he may just end up all by himself.

I also appreciate what SRR is doing. That's not an easy task when the people you are so desperately trying to help are only interested in taking from you.

I always enjoy hearing about / seeing people get sober. Three years ago I didn't even have a pot to piss in. Now I have lots of toys and am a successful business owner. None of it would be possible without my sobriety.

I hope he keeps moving forward and lives a good life. I have found that I truly enjoy my life now, and I think he can find that same joy, with a bit of work.

and never judge another human being until you've walked a mile in his shoes!!! Just Love em anyway.... We all are flawed human beings. Lot's of people say they want to help until it comes to actually doing it.

Man, I don't even know the Kid and have no skins in the game but I know what it feels like to be judged and treated like a POS because of being addicted and it perpetuates the self loathing, shame and guilt that addiction feeds off of.

3 most addictive Drugs 1. Heroin 2. Alcohol 3. Cocaine

Can you imagine how many people would instantly become a "alcoholic" if they had to resort to blackmarket means to drink???? facing the same stigma and disdain from society that the others do? read up on prohibition and why it was passed and why it didn't work.... sounds very similar to our Opiate problem of today. my 2 cents.
