I haven't heard anything about him for months. He needs a good outdoors - if he is back.

I'm not 100% certain about this but i think Dean said that he would be back for a few races later this year when he was on the Pulp MX show a few weeks ago?

Torn knee ligaments again, same as last year.

I think he'll probably return about mid way through the outdoors, around the same time that he did last year

RacerX injury report is stating he hopes to be back racing midway thru motocross season. I don't expect stellar results as he'll be racing himself into shape and getting up to race speed. There are rumors out there that he'll be back with KTM again next year, so no need to prove anything to anyone other than get healthy laps in.

Dean has had just about the worst luck anyone can have during his ascension to the 450s, it's such a shame because the dude has mass talent. Really hoping he comes back strong and shuts the haters up in 2017.

Dean has so much raw speed , it's a shame that those damn knee's of his have taken such a beating. I feel for the guy big time. Sounds like a good dude to.

BTO would be a great spot for him but for his gear deal and the fact that BTO is probably really good with Brayton and Millsaps.

If KTM has mercy on him they will just keep him on the main team.

Tearing your knee, surgery and all the rehab on the same knee 2 years in a row would be enough to maybe say F it.

Last Saturday at Metlife, my 4 year old son and I were walking thru the pits. We came up to the KTM rig, and Deano was coming out of the back of the trailer. I yell out "Hey Deano!" Just expecting a quick glance and a wave on his part. Instead he walks over and gives my son and I high fives, and talks for a couple minutes. What a great, humble young man, who hopes to be back mid-summer. I've always been a fan of his, but now after that experience my son and I are huge fans. Go Deano!

You know...this sounds cold, but business is business, and KTM could have somebody just as fast or faster & a whole lot less fragile for less money. With the success KTM has had recently, I imagine Roger can have his pick of riders. I hope that KTM has mercy on Deano...but it wouldn't shock me if he was out for 2017.

I agree that BTO might be a good fit...

Did Brayton & Milsaps already sign for 2017?

i would love to see one of these serial injury guys just bounce back and have a kick ass 2nd half of their careers. i'm hoping Dean, Adam and BT (europe now but wants to try the states again if all goes well) can have the fairytale ending.
