The 2010 YZ450 thread disappeared, and there have been two threads regarding 2010 Yamaha 2-strokes that got put in a choke hold (unable to view the last page, unable to post).
I'm no rocket scientist, but it seems somebody must have some good info that somebody else doesn't want us to know (yet).

I always think it is wierd how well kept the secrets actually are considering there is probably an assembly line running right now in Japan ( or has already run) building the bike.

I remember 2 years ago when someone who works in customs cracked a crate open and took pics of the 08 Hondas.

If there have been threads or posts pulled over 2010 Yamaha stuff, I don't know anything about it.

...And the 450 thread went "poof" a couple hours ago.

Just find it curious, and wondered if anybody else had noticed the same thing.

I made those. They were just renders and I thought I made it pretty obvious that they were fake. It was just to get an idea of what they would look like. Of course the internet takes them and goes crazy, though. I was amazed at how fast those spread. They went from the computer in our office to VitalMX, then to like every motocross forum where there are some two stroke diehards, then to BikePics where they were posted by some dude from the Philippines, and finally to TwoStrokeMotocross where they were featured in a "real or fake" article.

I'd have gotten rid of the vestigial 450 cylinder, the hot starts, and the goofy motor mount on the 125 if I wanted to trick everybody, but I figured they were detailed enough for renders. It's really hard to photoshop a bike at that angle. A direct view of the side of the bike is much easier. They're pretty clean overall, though.

I tried fixing that 3rd page of that thread, i get the same error in the admin section of the site that you get on the board. No clue what happened.

The 2010 YZ 250F was at Washougal. The Yamaha shop that had them on display said the release for the 450 was September 8th{I think}
