let's bury the hatchet like the suns are gonna bury the lakers!![/quote:20kg5s7g]

That's the smartest thing you have ever said on here.....lol[/quote:20kg5s7g]

Let's be real...the Sun have no chance and should just start throwing games for a chance in the lottery. Lakers look pretty fn good.

Thanks for that. Not many people remember any of that. And, for the record, it was my Fresh Dirt column before I ceded it over to MP. Actually, it was Eric Johnson, Lex Valasakos and I that cooked it up. The best Fresh Dirt we ever did was announcing that Emig was moving from Yamaha to Kawasaki (EJ's scoop). When we finally caught up with him later, he sez, "Oh! Whip It! Yeah. That's where I found out I was going to Kawasaki!". (true story)

(and I disavow any association with anything MP did after that)

that was one of the 1st urls i went to jess. very cool back then.

is mikeep really a biga fuck up as he claims to be?
is mikeep really a biga fuck up as he claims to be?[/quote:3pllbsfx]

Keep in mind that Mike and I spoke a lot on the phone/email back then, but only met face to face a couple of times. (The one time we had a lot of fun at Dimebag Darrell's club, is especially memorable. Err, uh, or not. <img class= " title="Wink"> ).

Like most of us, I think his judgment could use a tune-up. He's a pretty hyper guy who tends to shoot first and wonder why he did it, later. And, it's the internet where it's ridiculously easy easy to ignite chain reactions with nothing more than a mouse click. I also think there were a number of interests who baited him good and couldn't wait to pile on when the opportunity presented itself. And he took it hook, line and sinker. But the whole thing has always reminded me of junior high (gay) bullshit, too. Just like any of these little flameouts we see here daily.

I'll just say that he has always been straight with me, as far as I know, and really loves this sport. I don't know anything about anything else, except that the Bauer throwdown was presented to me to be along the same lines as the Kimmey v. Horndog thing, with Mike taking exception about some apparent threats to his girlfriend. Again, it's the internet. So who the fuck knows?

The only thing I know for sure is that the dumbass should have left the fucking sticker where it was.

Hutch has done a great job with the site, and he's learning to make it better as he goes. I'm a designer, not a webmaster, so Hutch really bit off a lot in going from just a bulletin board to a full content management system and community. He's had some bumps, and he'll have a few more I'm sure, but he's working hard and I don't want anyone to take away from that with petty shit. Hutch has integrity and his site and stats are accurate.

That is all.[/quote:lm3mrbp2][/quote:lm3mrbp2]

Hutch wants watch TV now.
Could you please get off his nuts?

I've really forgotten how long I have been a patron to MD until I started reading some of the posts in here.

Everything evolves. Even MD. But here are a few things that I miss:

- RC16: Sure he sucked, but the flames were priceless.
- MikeeP: I like the guy in a weird way.
- RM250Guy: His MD weekly cover mags were the bomb!
- XXXMikeXX: His debates were infamous.
- TFS: In the billigerant days.
- The black dude with 10K posts
- P
- Kandrell: When he was a shit talker.
- Bauer: Ditto
- Alphado: When he posted pics.
- Nerd: Before he disappeared.
- Ringer

MD is cool but only a shell of what it used to be.
I'm sad.

Since we're on memory lane, how about a few Cainfuscianisms:

[quote:jddje43s]I'll put it in perspective for ya: I just came back from a 12 mile mountain-bike sprint. At the halfway mark, as is my routine, I stopped at the local tanning salon. One of the customers there is a pro wrestler. . .

Maybe I should be like YOU clowns and marry the first decent woman who'd charitably give me the time of day! Sorry; doesn't work that way for me. I never bragged before but I've ALWAYS gotten hot chicks, and right now I'm doing better than ever in that department. The only reason I talk about it now is in hopes that you clowns will get so sick of hearing from me and about me, maybe you'll STFU and go away! . . .

As for the women in my life, that's none of your business, but the reason I posted so late last night was because I was out to dinner with a reeeally hot brunette (and you weren't). . .

I'm not married and I can see as many women as I chose. Probably more in the last 6 months than you have in your entire life. Look at it as auditions, OK? Or just STFU and mind your own business! . . .

"Black-and-White" vs. "Shades of Gray" again! What if I could have afforded a new Harley a YEAR ago instead of laying in a hospital bed? What if I could afford a BETTER Harley, or a BIGGER boat? See my point?

Want me to shut up? Then YOU shut up! . . .You clowns have run off most of the reasonable members on this BB. Activity is way down and half of that is smack, bashing, and BS. . .

I blame Bruhn for fostering this mentality. I mean, wasn't he the pioneer of internet MX BB's? Glad I flicked the propensity for internet hackery like a booger off
[/quote:jddje43s]

I wish the art and wine connousieur ones hadn't gotten lost in the internet ether on one of the board crashes. those were priceless, too.

Speaking of RC16 and RM250 guy, does anyone remember their weekly race reports on Fresh Dirt? Those were hilarious! (Prior to RC16 truning into an asshat)

Man...I miss Rich...you cannot get that kind of enterainment. Even Pre-Mix couldn't come close to an RC16 post like the one FTE posted.

I wish Rich would show up one day...please don't run him off he does. Just agree with him and compliment his superior lifestyle.

That's it right there. Entertainment. It used to be entertaining to read the posts. Now everyone thinks they are fishing and they are looking for the hook.

No more entertainment just pissing.
