Malcolm Stewart was on the cover of the May 2016 Racer X, and as you all know, the Racer X cover curse has something to do with a rider getting hurt immediately after getting the cover.

I could feel my blood pressure rising at least 10 clicks a day as I awaited the next issue, anticipating the bad news...

Well today, my friends, I got the new June 2016 issue, and on the cover is the well mannered and sophisticated Marteeen Davalos, and Malcolm did not get hurt! So, as far as I can tell the curse can now be considered lifted, right???

The first rule of the RacerX curse is; you do not speak of the RacerX curse!

I don't really like talking about riders getting hurt, especially before they actually get hurt. But since were talking about the curse; shouldn't we wait until the current series is over before that..."curse" kinda applies?

Or not.

No, it goes month to month, and with the release of a new issue - I believe Malcolm has beat it!

I am just here to make it official...

I want him to win the title.

Don't try to make sense of it either, there is no logical reason for my post...

Maybe Mookie just has really good mojo.

I wouldn't say the curse is lifted until Martin makes it through the month. Whistling

If Malcolm were my son, I would not allow the RacerX cover. Not only is there a cover curse, but they are helping to deteriorate SX/MX all for the sake of $$$.

Redundant, wordy articles, with no substance. I was an avid fan of SX/MX, but have drifted away due to how fake people are in such a seriously dangerous sport. RacerX/Feld/AMA.....it gives me chills how politics have become so relevant.

Get to the roots of this sport and bring back the real men.

Hey, I'm just trying to let this die now...

After doing some research, Dungey broke the curse last October, and then again in January.

And so did Trey Canard in February. And so did Ken Roczen and Jason Anderson, respectively.

The curse has been broken for a while now... I just get a little nervous every time the new Racer X hits my mailbox - just like it did with Eli last year right before Lakewood!!!!

DC said himself that there is no cover curse, it's just a numbers game...

That's exactly what DC would say if he were out there giving everyone cover curse. He can't admit it, then people would just put a protection hex on him.

I've had a picture of JS7 on my desktop for the past 6 or so months and I think it's the cause of his lackluster year. Took it off yesterday, I think we'll see a difference from here on out.

Jesus, it's been you all along?! The team has been trying everything. Thanks a lot! It's been a rough 6 months.
