Besides, HOW THE HELL DO YOU SANDBAG THE PRO CLASS?

Its a pro class that he is 100% eligible for right?

I'm not saying Herlings would dominate in the US, but he would be completely and utterly competitive from the start. I certainly wouldn't count him out any track or location.

Absolutely.

But he's more than proven he's the best in the class.... and everyone knows he'd have had 4 straight if not for some bad luck.

He's not proving anything by staying down, it's absolutely his prerogative, and there really isn't a good reason for me or anyone else to say he should move up...

BUT his (directly comparable) competitors have moved up, moved on, won and progressed. That's all.

I can kinda understand his position to RideMX2 in the GPs, but why not race a 450 in these national events? Heck, even ride the 250 in the 450 class

Herlings waiting to go out for one of his races. Notice he has no tear offs on. That's confidence for you Cool

When you've had 2 seasons with abbout 5 different injuries where 2 or 3 could have been career ending, then you stop playing around with stuff like that.

He did that before but he wants the title this year and just concentrates on that.
He also won't race a 85cc anymore for the same reason...

As I see it, this season has absolutely nothing to do with Herlings proving anything to anybody. It's just all about getting himself back to the best he can possibly be after 2 really tough years. That's all it's about, getting his career back onto the curve it was on midway through 2014

Racing is his source of income, he gets payed by KTM (great money I'm sure) and they tell him they want a title in both classes, I think it's awesome to watch someone dominate like that. It's a pro world championship class not a C class at lorrettas

You might wanna check the current MXGP standings. You probably called the MX2 class lame as well when Gajser and Febvre were in it (some of those spodes that are currently in the class were on the same level as those guys). Consult RV about Febvres lameness. Not sure if he will agree. But be careful, he might call you clueless.
And I'm not a "GP dude".

OK, so I'm exaggerating just a little bit. Let's put it in layman's terms here. Why is it that superstars like DungeY, RC, RV, Bubba ect do their couple of years on the little bikes and then move up but it's OK for Jeffrey to dog fuck it for what will be half of his career assuming he doesn't take another couple of trips over the bars? Maybe let's have an American have a shot at trying to explain this one. All the euro lovers have got stars in their eyes for this kid.

98% of the people giving him shit have never seen him ride. Those who have seen him ride speak very highly of him, that should tell you something

I am a fan of him yes. He hasn't moved up for a couple of reasons. The main one being horrible injuries. He's said himself that in hindsight he wishes he'd moved up this season, but at the time when he had to make the decision he want sure when he would be back riding or how it would go, so he chose to ride MX2 again. I honestly don't see what the big deal is. He's 21, not 25/26 he'll be in MXGP next year anyway, so what's the problem?

Here's an idea: Instead of belitelling him on a forum, throw him a message on some social media network and ask him yourself.

Hammertime is proof that not everybody in Canada is quiet, respectful, and well mannered. We have our obnoxious loud mouths here too!
