I don't see muddy creek having one for much longer. I also think ww ranch will get the next one maybe Florida tracks and trails but that's a long shot because of how south it is don't think it would bring much spectators.
Take it to a state that does not already have an sx and/or national.

Like Virginia.

For the US nationals I want all natural tracks because we already have the supercross series. For the world motocross series I don't mind if they throw in a couple different type of tracks since its ran in places all over the world and they can have 15-20 different tracks

Where is the motocross track at Barber Motorsports Park? I visited the museum there last year and looked at the road track but didn't see anything about a motocross track. I know they make a temporary track in a field for the vintage race. It would be a cool venue for a race with the museum and all if they had a real track.

I do almost everything on an iPad, and brought that place up on apple maps, satellite view.
Looks like a track on the left, kinda small maybe, but look at all the land/woods around that place.

Wasn't youth stream gonna run there one year?

DC has given his praise to Monster Mountain on here a few times and dotes on the track. The fscility itself is the holdback, if Tom is able to put in the supporting structure, my bet would be on them getting a shot at one. Skip Barber has built one heck of a track at the Barber Motorsports Complex in Birmingham as well, and Barber has the supporting structure in place already. That would be one to look at as well.
DC was down there sniffing a few years ago , I was down there racing cars and the manger stop by to shoot the shit , it fits all the Miller qualification s expect the track they where going to build was on another part off the property

We need more natural deep sand tracks. Southwick is not enough.

Okay. Don't forget we know geography too. Muddy creek is 10 miles (if that) from Virginia. I vote for Monster Mountain as I"m only 45 minutes away but that's just me being selfish. I would also be okay with wwcycleranch close to Jacksonville, Fl.

That's not the only place he's been sniffing around, and not the most recent either.

Barber is too nice of a facility for motocross.

I hear it's pain even trying to organize a race on their paved track. Apparently if you go off the track and wreck some grass you're charged personally for the damage.

I can't imagine them hosting motocross for the weekend and the shitshow that goes along with it. They certainly don't need the money or the prestige of hosting a national.

I have faith in DC that whenever he decides to add another track it will be the right choice. What he and MX Sports have done has been simply amazing.

Barber is nothing like that, at all. Someone is butthurt over something to say that. They host several races each year with different organizations and each one keeps coming back amd they bring in crowds. The vintage bike races are a weekend event with primitive camping all over the property, people parked everywhere in the grass. Nobody gets charged for it...

Agreed. Not sure of the parking situation, facility layout etc. but by pure track standards, it has all you can want. Extremely rough conditions coupled with lots of airtime.

I'm OK with anywhere as long as it better than Lake Elsinore and Millers joint in Utah.

Those tracks set the sport back 50 years..........true story.
