We should all sell our bikes because our time has passed and we can't be the best rider in the world anymore. Oh it's so sad when you get old and slower. It's even more depressing watching pros get old. I thought they didn't age or slow. What world do you live in and what the fuck are you smoking?
James isn't the only guy getting hurt and missing seasons. If you actually are a fan of the sport this really needs no explaining. Take your blinders off.

Reality is, most pro guys call it a day in their 30s. More so with kids around.
And I believe James has said he's in it to win it, anything else isn't fun.

Aside from that, James isn't going down like that. He'll be back and racing cause even on his bad days he's a million times better than the yahoo's on here talking crap on him.

I didn't find it enjoyable, seeing the guy getting knocked out cold in a 5 mph crash.
Or pulling off because he just could not hang.
Or getting lapped by a few guys he once ate for lunch.
That doesn't make me a fan of moto in your eyes, you my friend are the one that needs to take the rose colored glasses off.
I hope he rips off 4 wins in a row.
But I ain't betting on it, and none of you guys are either.
1. James' screw up with MM at the end was simply him being in a situation he is not familiar with. This coming from an expert in such situations.
2. James looks rusty. All guys do when they come back from being hurt. A guy who knows how to go fast, but his body forgot the moves. It will come back, but it takes laps.

There are still potentially 5 to 10 main event wins in JS7 if he accepts to be a bit patient after such a long time off racing.
There are not many riders that have his speed. He usually qualifies great, race for the win in heats so as he is starting well he will always be a contender.
Same with Canard. He just needs to be more patient, because he is one of the most gifted. Just look at how much time he can make up on just 1 jump.
What I don't understand for this year is he had a year off to heal, enjoy life and take a break. Why didn't he put in a huge effort in training and riding to get ready for this year three months out? It boggles my mind that he came in clearly over weight and not one with the motorcycle. You think he would have wanted to come in and kill it right off the bat.
Oh well, what ever he does I wish him well. It has been an amazing ride.
