Most people know Boana from the Beta Boana efforts, but, here's a CR500AF used in the Pharoahs Rally a few years ago, that they had a bit to do with.






I really hope that someone, Silvain Espinasse perhaps, uses a 300cc 2T in the Dakar, soon. Silvain made it on his 125 - a 300 would make things easier, and, bring him / others further up in the results. Yet, still get plenty of attention.

These two are owned and were built by Steve Clitheroe of SCT racing engines here in the UK. I dropped my engine off with him last week and spent a good amount of time drooling over these in his workshop.
They look even better in the flesh, hard to believe they're 27 years old
