You know what is strange, I get MXA and RacerX digital and read all the Vitals stories but I dont watch many of the videos. I am a reader and even though I get it all on line I still get the paper copy editions by mail and really like a print mag. Must be my generation because I love to read.
I don't think it's a generation thing, because I'm the same way and I'm a "millennial." I still prefer to read as much as possible. I still go into the book stores and flip through magazines. I love getting magazines and hardly ever watch the videos either.

I will read any on the newsstand or at books a million next door to Petco when my wife drags me down there. But I only have a subscription to RacerX. Over the years I've only had scipts to dirt rider and Transworld.

For off road I feel Trail Rider is the best. It's a small east coast magazine that has been struggling lately keeping it's head above water. Not because of money, but more so due to time as the editor Kevin Novello also has a day job like most of us. For the most part, this magazine seems to be a one man show and that I believe is part of the struggle. Great ride and product reviews with an old school feeling. Having a magazine that's not part of the west coast mosh pit is tough to come by now days.

Since its a cold, rainy day in here in Westen Pa,and its a bit slow in the office, I decided to tally up the results of this questionnaire at this point. Very unofficial and may include a hanging chad or 2......

MXA -----------------25
RACERX------------12
DIRT RIDER-------- 3
DIRT BIKE-----------3
TWMX-----------------2
INSIDE MX-----------1
CYCLENEWS-------1
MAICO NEWS------1
POPULAR RIDER--1
TRAIL RIDER--------1

If someone stated they had 2 favorites, both mags received a point...

What are these magazines you speak of? I thought Vitalmx.com was the only source for news on Motocross/Supercross

Is the check in the mail GuyB?

Racer X now. MXA when I was a kid.

I see the mags and browse through them at barnes and noble. Most just are advertisement with racing articles. Im looking for mostly technical stuff in a mag. What do you recommend?

It does… super proud! What makes me most proud is that this is his work, he formed relationships with very special people and they were kind enough to give him opportunities. I mini dad him at the track with drills etc but off the track it's his world and I couldn't be more proud of how he handles himself.
We're you and your wife at Hangtown a couple years ago. If so I think we were talking for a bit.

I'm totally with you on the reading comment lostboy. I am always disappointed when I click on something and there is only a video.

MXA and then Dirt Bike...subscribe to both as I'd always end up buying them anyway. I like bike tests, product tests and tech type articles.

Used to get RacerX but after awhile it seemed their lifestyle type of content was the kind of stuff I had already read on the internet at some point.

1988 MXA with a few inside pages!! The wait for this issue was agonizing as I had no clue who had won, etc. This was how I got any moto news so it was always a good week when MXA and dirt bike came out.

My dad has had quite a few as well. Including a 1969 427 big block coupe which he has owned since he was 19... it needs some love though. Laughing

I subscripe to everyone;

MXA, RacerX, Transworld, Dirt Rider, Dirt Bike, I even got Moto from Europe but I guess they went all online.

I don't think I have missed a single MXA since 1982.

I wish Cycle News still had a print version.

Both Digital and print, although I have yet to download any Digital yet...
I STILL get excited when a mag comes in the mail :-)

My old man had a brand new 67 coupe, L71 427, tri-power intake, factory off road pipes (side pipes) and then later on he had a 66 coupe with the L71 that was a radio delete car. I wish I had either one now!
