Well I was at my brother's dealership today looking at the new Kaw 450, and I'm finally going to make the jump from my KX250F to a new 450.
Been thinking about it for a long time but the previous Kaw 450's just seemed more suited for bigger and taller riders. And since I wanted to stay on Kaw I held off. But then I sat on a new one and rode a buddies.
Wow, it felt very similar to my 250. Very narrow in the middle and not so big and long feeling.
I'm a 58 year old vet rider and weigh 155. So I plan on sending the susp off to Factory Connection since they did such an awesome job on my 250.
My question is regarding a new pipe. I have it narrowed down to FMF or Pro Circuit. I don't really need more power as much as I'm looking to shave off some lb's. And they do look a hell of a lot better as well.
Any opinions on which would be best for me? I know they're both top quality products.
I just want to save weight as much as I can.
Thanks in advance!

I was running the stock recommended pressure in the fork, and i did not like it. The track was pretty rough and it was my first ride back after an injury so i was not at 100%, but i hated the forks. They felt too hard over braking bumps, but bottomed out over some of the bigger jumps. Can anyone give me some recommendations on what pressure in which chamber i should experiment with and what influence each chamber has?
I am 155pounds with gear btw.
