Hi Guys,
After much soul searching ive decided i wanted to rebuild an old Skool Steely from the ground up. For me they are the ultimate in cool and i really loved the thought of rescuing something that was at the brink of scrap. I started the hunt for the bike and eventually came across a sorry looking CR250 RP that had a seized engine and showed signs of very very poor maintanenc.
PERFECT i thought!
The build has quickly sky rocketed past my budget (as often happens) due to all the bice aftermarket parts availiable plus the rip off cost of OEM parts!
Anyway heres where it all started.......

DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
I rebuilt both front and rear calipers with new pistons and seals. New brake lines and control levers too.
The footpegs are for a newer CR250 model but i modified them to fit and used new pins to secure
Ive yet to check them for leaks but for the cost of them (£64) you cant really complain compared to the price of OEM ones! I expected them to be a lot worse fit to be honest haha
The bike as it sits still has the wheels to be relaced with new gold rims and the front shocks to be overhauled including new adjusting caps ordered from Japan
Pit Row
93-97 CR125 louvers will fit with a slight mod. With the locating pins, you have to trim off half of one on each side. And they cover probably 95% of the radiator with just a couple of small OEM cutouts not covering in spots.
Here's a pic of the 125 louvers on my 95 CR250
