Video of me braking my arm

Edited Date/Time 12/3/2015 12:21pm
Hey Folks,

I read here in this Forum almost everyday and I thought I have to join now.
I am from Germany and ride MX for 22 years now. Was German Champion when I was younger and rode professionally here.
After destroying my right ankle in 2010 I had to hang up my boots.
I did my econonmics study and now I am doing a fulltime Motocross Academy.
I still ride for fun and for my Academy but I have no movement in my right ankle anymore and strong arthritis/pain.

Do say "Hi" I thought I post a Video of me braking my right arm :D

INFO: This was after my "retirement" and at this point I already had a plate in my right forearm.

So watch it if you want.

Greetings from cold Germany Smile

Ouch!

looked like it broke before you even hit the ground.

Yes that's right.

While washing my front end before the corner and into a sharp bump my arm broke on the handlebars right after the old plate Wink

Herzlich Willkommen Herr Meusel :-)

Nice Video, with a bad ending. But i liked the "Wald- und Wiesenboden" on that track.

Your english is fine, I understood what you meant. That's the whole point. The phrasing just caught me off guard.

You had a great race going, sorry it ended so badly. Beautiful track.

Schön neben dem Häuschen starten Evil

that reminds me a lot of when I dislocated my shoulder the last time, the only difference that I hurt it when hitting the ground. It was even a left hand turn like that Blink

I've been hurt more in corners and straights, than I have jumping. Here's to a speedy recovery!

Brutal. I had a hard time looking at the still shot of your arm, that must have been quite painful.

Cool song in the video. It reminded me of Sage Francis.

ThanksSmile

Yes it was pretty painful but two days after surgery I went home from hospital and from there on it went better each day. But it took me 13 weeks to ride again

I've seen that before on some fail videos thinking abotu how the faster you go the more often corner entrances begin to bite you the most.

Hope you healed well!

Wow do they race quads there ?

Track looks like an ice skating rink in slots. super slick. I can't believe how hard you were pushing on some of that shiny dirt.

I dont think there were quads on this day. But tracks like this are normal here. They only make them flat before the race weekend and they never groom the tracks. And if so not deep enoungh so the tracks are rock hard pretty quick. And when it rains on tracks like this it is super slippery.

Thanks Smile

But in northern and north-West Germany there are also pretty deep sand tracks. But I am more the hard pack specialist Smile
