Screw it...I can't get the video to embed...so here is a link:

What a frikkin' mess that place is...good grief.

The middle east will always be killing each other, its been that way for ever, and it will likely always be that way...time to let them do it. I'm tired of America wading in their cesspool.

Wow, that was an interesting video.
I agree with you completely.
In the past, I've tried remaining optimistic about Obama. Getting pissed off at him isn't doing yourself a bit of good. So, instead, I've tried to understand the direction he views things. I HONESTLY think he is just wasting time, because he doesn't want to be the one Presidential face of whatever happens over there. He is really screwing the US I feel.
Also, I think it is also interesting how US States are turning their backs saying 'No refugees will be allowed in our states'. Baracks popularity is taking a major shit.

just like Vietnam, just like afganistan, the super powers are backing there sides, and either up front or under the table they support and arm the side they see as making them the most money,

and the UN will just let it happen because it toothless,

and thousands of people will die, and some arms industries will make a lot of money, and then when its not worth anything to anybody, they will move onto the next place to do it,

Ezra Klein is a hack, fired from the washington post after 1 year. Hes known in the political circles as the "voxplainer" with zero credibility i might add. Every article on vox is a cover piece in reaction to bad news put out about the administration.

Same with this video. Completely left out of the video is the arms running from libya to syria pre 2011. Benghazi was all about arming the syrian rebels. And after judicial watch won the foia court battle, the emails documenting the gun running have been published.
Syria is 100% on Obamas feet. A feeble attempt to arm a faction of rebels to overthrow Assad to the benefit of the gulf state nations.

Go to judicialwatch.org and read the emails yourself. Syria was started as a black operation to oust Assad.

As for the last of the video, Ezra claims Obama ordered the US out of Syria and let other nations deal with it, false. We have special forces on the ground in Syria to this day.

Once you people realize the muslims have a history of immigrating then forcing themselves & their violence into areas you will start to see what is really going on. People are way to dismissive of this "a few bad apples". We have killed hundreds of thousands & they re-up like roaches. There is no shortage of those willing to kill for Alah. And the moderates are simply not engaging in battle, a vast majority support spreading islam with convert or die. We can learn to live with it or are going to have go full barbarian. A traditional war is not going to win this.

I love how States think they'll be able to keep out the refugees. Last time I checked the state borders are open. Fly into colorado and drive to every state in the union, less two.

Governors are pandering. They have the 10th amendment to protect state assests and state funds from going to refugees. But refugee handling is 100% federal and the states can not do anything about their placement within their borders as long as they placed on federal land in federal housing with federal funds.
What i see happening is the threat of withdrawing federal funding for state programs to the states that refuse to work with DHS on refugee placement. States will cave, but they will do it loudly and pander to their constituents.

I honestly wish the Feds were as concerned about the homeless Americans...why not use DHS funds to provide housing for them?

And why the need to fly these refugees to the other side of the planet? Can't countries in the general area handle them all? I'm not opposed to America helping out with money to help in that way, it just seems unnecessary to fly them half way around the world for safety and security.

Most of the refugees are in surrounding countries.

1.9 million in Turkey.

1.1 million in Lebanon, bear in mind the population of Lebanon is 4.5 million.

630,000 in Jordan

250,000 in Iraq.

The USA was built on people looking for a better life, it's only right that the richest and one of largest countries on earth takes it's share of refugees, considering it had a major part in causing this, why should Europe and the rest of the middle east bear the brunt?

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!

America isn't one of the richest countries in the world...we are pay check to pay check...actually not even that, we are spending more than we make. We're BK and poor.

I thought I saw that there is 69,000 coming here (that could be wrong, it was just a headline)...that seems like such a small number compared to the total numbers, that it just seems like a half hearted attempt at doing something, even though it makes no real difference in the grand scheme of things....those 69,000 could easily be absorbed by neighboring countries.

And that quote, as far as I'm concerned, isn't talking about refugees...

The neighboring countries are all on record stating they will not accept syrian or iraqi refugees for fear of bringing terrorism to their countries. I assume you are reffering to the gulf states, ie: saudi, uae, qatar, etc.

Last weekend before arriving in Turkey for the G20, Obama made a stop in Jordan to demand more processing centers be opened so we could ramp up the refugee arrivals.. The numbers were originally 10k, then 65k then 100k per year, now its as many as possible as fast as possible. Flood the gates.. This was discussed yesterday on the hill between democrat house leadership and DHS, hence the reason 47 defected and voted with GOP to pit limits on the refugees.

Neighboring countries don't care about being PC

America needs to help...but it should help without opening our boarders to them. Aid, Money, whatever...but they don't have to fly the refugees half way around the planet to help provide refuge.

There's an old saying, "You can run, but you can't hide".

The world is just not that small anymore.

I just had this battle with some "friends" on Facebook (which ended with me pulling a GuyB and putting myself in timeout before I got really mad). It makes no sense to me why you cant take money from one place and put it in another. I am tired of us ignoring all the problems on our own doors. Especially ignoring our wounded homeless veterans. Its obsurd.

Wow..that's a really ignorant way of thinking.. Support whoever will make them the most money.. If that was true don't you think the United States would make a thousands times more money selling arms and doing business with the Syrian government themselves..Whistling

Although there's always enough money for war and the US is making a ton of cash selling arms to Saudi who are supplying the "moderate" and in turn ISIS

Saudi Arabia have enough air conditioned tents in a massive camp to house 1million but won't take a single refugee, they want Assad gone and are quite happy to see Europe with Muslims,to the extent of building a proposed 200 mosques

Same as our Government I guess though, borrowing money they havn't got to pay for things they shouldn't and in turn not helping their own people.

The US could take a load you could argue, afterall they're mostly responsible for the whole mess over there but I still say we shouldn't nipped it in the bud, turned the boats back and sent aid to Turkey etc housing these people in camps,we're to take 20,000,until the rest of the influx get EU passports,I'm just glad we're surrounded by water...

I wish they would stand up for themselves , grabbing weapons and start defending themselves. It's like having one bad neighbor , chase off every single person on the block from their homes. The bad dudes are severely out numbered over there, and yet those people just want someone else to fight their battles for them. I know it goes much , much deeper than that , but damn dudes...you are being forced from your homes. Every country that is taking in these refugee's , will suffer terrorism! That is a simple fact. I feel bad for the innocent people coming over , but if keeping everyone out because it would keep terrorists out ( or help ).......then keep them out! It may sound heartless , but fuck them people. Them running away is just bring the terrorists right to the doorsteps of countries trying to help. How could any of them blame us , or any other country for not wanting them here? And fuck you too Allah!
