Supercross Paris-Lille discussion

Here's Febvre and Webb results in every race they've both been on (quali include)(USGP, MXON and Japan)

Febvre: 3/1/2/1/1/1/8/3/2
Webb: 2/2/3/2/2/6/1/1/3

Good rivalry here.
So by MXoN points method:

Febvre: 22
Web: 22

Crazy!

I wonder if the race will be canceled because of the terrorist attacks going on right now? Anybody know anything?
I doubt it, the race is in Lille, roughly 200km North from Paris.

There is an official release from Lariviere organisrrs to say Lille SX will go ahead with heightened security.
Everyone keep safe. Racing & result's seem unimportant at this sad time.

I got a text from a buddy of mine that city officials are deciding something at the moment.

Hopefully they race.

You ready to see JS7 kick some ass?
He's my pick.
Should be some good racing.

Sounds like it is out of the event's organiser's hands and into the hands of the county/local government... could still not happen but as of right now, everyone is gearing up to race

Another Lille update: We're hearing they're waiting for approval from the city to run the event. It's currently closed to everyone bar media

I would be extremely surprised if they race. I hope they don't.

Could the event go ahead with no crowd?

Sort of sad that these terriost fucks are getting what they want and that is for the free world to be second guessing about going on with our daily lives.

Completely understand not going on with the event under the circumstances that are going on in France right now though.

I guess they could, but this could end very bad financially for the promoters. Have they paid the big names their start money? If they have, i hope that the riders use their brain and pay back if the race doesn't happen. Even if they race(as i said i would be surprised if they race) no one will attend the race.

I read article 1 hour ago that all sport events in Paris this weekend are cancelled due to terrorist attacks.

As said before , Lille is 225km from Paris.. and is only 50km further from London, the saving grace there is that 30km of that is water.

i hope it runs... at what point does it become 'safe' to carry on. Today, tomorrow, next week , next month.

Just so I'm ready for the race I want to make sure i have the shit right now. I'm not the smartest guy on all this electronic shit so I'd like some help, please.

I went to the link provide and per another suggestion I downloaded the Hola app. I then go to the link and get the "restricted" warning. Per a tip above I clicked on the Hola icon and select France. Now this is what I got. What next.

When set on France with Hola, use this link:

http://www.lequipe21.fr/direct/

or click on the red button "EN DIRECT" on the page (image) you posted. "En direct" means "Live" in french.

They're news right now on the channel and it is 01:21 pm here.

It's live all day long just like a regular TV channel.
11/14/2015 4:31am
The evening show should start at 19.00 (cet time zone). So far it sounds the event will go on as planned...

I got my tickets right here for tomorrow, i'll be going if everything stays like it is.

It can be selfish to still wanna go there, but i don't wanna let terrorism make us fear public events.

Looks like if you arent jumping the quad , then you arent in the running , which is a shame, half the field are already just riding round for the money already , because they wont do it, and risk wrecking themselves.
