Well I have been wanting to do this for quite some time. I picked up a 2006 RM125. Seemed like it was in decent shape. Then we began tearing it down. Total restore coming up.
Things I need some help with:
Frame color?? Black or Yellow?
I am going with a Team ECC themed graphic and they have yellow frames.
Aftermarket Gear shifter or Brake lever?
Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
The best thing on the bike was a Factory FMF pipe and a Shorty silencer. I really want a PC setup. Just what i would rather have! What does anyone think I can get for the FMF stuff on ebay?
Really looking forward to this one!!

I prefer black frame. Works suzuki bikes had black frames. As well as yellow factory rims. That's just me. I'd run oem gear shifter and brake pedal. Lot of aftermarket stuff is garbage.
Have a look at what I did with my rear brake pedal Here , its easy and cheaper than a $220 rear brake lever and way stronger as its forged aluminium and to be honest I'm a bit disappointed in Hammerhead, the aluminium that they use is pretty soft and I've gone thru 4 shifter tips in around 2 years on my YZ450F, the anodising doesn't seem to be that awesome either, my brake pedal from them has held up nice but I think that because the stainless grub screws in the top side that take all the wear.
Are you replacing the Clutch and ignition covers?

A couple years ago, I contacted n-style to have them do a set once more. They were less than enthusiastic, and no longer had the capability to do the flo-green colors.
If anyone can make a spot-on replica, I'm in on the group buy.
The fender, the rear holes line up, its just the front - I dabbed some grease on the front mounts of my clamps and placed the fender in spot - and removed, left 2 grease dots and thats where I drilled my holes and it worked perfect - hope that makes sense.
The addition of these 2 pieces makes such a drastic difference on the appearance of the bike. Mine
