Well I have been wanting to do this for quite some time. I picked up a 2006 RM125. Seemed like it was in decent shape. Then we began tearing it down. Total restore coming up. Things I need some help with: Frame color?? Black or Yellow? I am going with a Team ECC themed graphic and they have yellow frames...

A little more progress here. I am also listing the FMF factory fatty and shorty silencer on ebay today for $200. If anyone on here wants it I will sell and ship it for $200.

Can anyone give me some input on how to mount up the new rmz front fender and number plate? I have a set of applied clamps coming. Not sure how to get new fender to bolt up.

I was not planning on replacing them. Going to try to find a way to clean them up or use a chemical to discolor them. Open to ideas for sure.

One would think there will be a vet 30a. This is a class at the 2015 rcsx. This class gives riders a class to race for 5 years until they are 35. Being 34 and giving up 9 years to a 25 year old is not fun for the old a riders!

Exactly my point. This is just how it works. Like playing flag football with Jerry Rice. He is going to still be rad on the field; enjoy the opportunity. My only wish is....bring back the old 30+!! I have two more year until I can ride 35+!!

I don't doubt the fact that they have the same struggles as everyone else with life. My point is that these guys were and still are fast. I enjoy lining up and racing them. To get a 10-15th place finish in this class would be an amazing accomplishment judging by the accomplishments of the top 10. I am all for...

Larusso scored national points in 2012 (10 points actually). Pamart attempted to qualify for several outdoor nationals this year. He must have been using those for a warm up for Lorretta's. The fact is I could not beat them in the 90's and why am I going to be able to beat them now? If most replying to this topic...

DC, There are a lot of us that had a pro license that never made gates nor night shows. I understand the need for the B/C classes and respect that. That also leaves a lot of us that are in between the +25 and +35 classes. There are also a lot of riders that qualify for the +35 and +40...

It has been a fun journey for sure. Ryan has been killing it also out there. Every weekend during timed practices I keep an eye on him and a few others to figure out what we needed to do. We would love to be in St. Louis this week; just don't think we have enough time to replace the parts...

The rider is Auston Albers out of Georgia. I am his mechanic/employer. The crash was pretty horrific in person as I could not see him get up with the blocked view from the mechanics area. Our bike is trashed; he is sore and banged up. He drove the 13 hour drive home from Buffalo NY yesterday and got home at...

Hello all, I have been riding and racing a 2013 rm-z450 since August of 2012. I am due for a new one. The KTMs have caught my eye simply due to the fact of my son racing the smaller bikes. Long story short, I can get a 13 450sxf for the same price as a left over 13 RMZ 450...

coastie, does the mapping change it that much? I had mapped my rm and done some motorwork; seemed like a maintenance whore with race gas and reliability. was kinda wanting to leave the ktm stock. does your mapping require race fuel? where did you get the maps from?
