Dispute it with the credit card company. They will reverse the charge and open an investigation. 1 of 2 things will happen - you'll get your money back or you'll get your graphics in a hurry. I've had to dispute a couple of charges and was pleasantly surprised with the level of cooperation with the credit card company.

Good luck with that scumbag. I sent a brand new Shoei to him to have it wrapped for my son so we could take it to mini Os. Needless to say we went to mini Os without the helmet and it was weeks before we got it back. He dodged phone calls to.

Why do people use those fairly unknown companies? I mean, there are four or five main companies that have been in business for a long time, produce great work, do it for a reasonable price, and get it done and shipped in a timely manner. Those companies also support the sport, through advertising etc. There is honestly no room for all these fly by night companies, and if people continue to give their money to these jackoff's, the good companies will disappear.

It's happening all over, in the road racing industry, everyone is buying leathers from companies that don't actually make leathers, but they will take your measurements and send them to Pakistan, along with their design...And, they're charging as much as a genuine company that makes leathers right here in the US, by non American hating individuals. What the hell is wrong with people.

Hindsight is always 20/20 asshole. Impulse advertised at one point here on vital and had some descent local pros running his graphics around here.

Alright everyone I just made this account to reply to this forum to clear a few things up.

I am Jace the original owner of Impulse since 2009 when I founded it. Over the past three years I have entertained offers as to selling the business, a few months back I was made an offer I don't believe anyone would say no to and agreed. So I no longer own Impulse Design Company and didn't feel the need to tell anyone as I am still doing design work for the business and I really didn't think it mattered. What the new owner is doing with the business I am not entirely sure of other than selling motocross graphics, hopefully they take better care of it than I am currently reading. I have zero control over production or dealing directly with customers so please leave me out of all of that and I apologize for whatever the new owner is doing wrong.

I built a very successful and profitable business over the past 6 years, I truly appreciate and cannot thank enough all of our loyal customers and friends since the day I started the business. I had goals that I set out to meet and we met every single goal and a few I didn't plan for. We did some amazing things, had a blast, met awesome people, had some great experiences, made some generic looking dirt bikes look pretty badass, had countless riders on the podium at Lorettas year after year, helped pros from outdoors to supercross.

I was 22 years young when I started and for the past two years of being in business I no longer enjoy what I do and if you don't enjoy what you do you need to move on. I've been searching for the next move in my life and career - I currently don't even own a bike... Worked my self dead half the time taking care of our customers and trying our best to supply the best service we could. We had a few rough patches, hired some of the wrong people (rookie mistake) but I was the owner so I take full responsibility for everything good or bad. Currently I am still doing design work for the business, feel free to get a hold of me jace@impulsedesignco.com and I can try to correct any problems some of you may have spoken of.

To those who appreciated the all-nighters I pulled and everything else, THANK YOU and CHEERS!

Nice write up but wasn't he emailing you. Sorry but you seem to lost all credibility and I'm sure I will never do business with you. Customer service should have been one of them goals.

Yeah Jace I'm sorry but I'm not quite buying all of this. Not only have I been trying to contact you along with many others but you have made no effort to get back to us and help these problems get resolved. Instead, in my issue with you, you just blocked me in every form. And in my opinion, you had no intentions of doing so until this thread was started. A simple reply telling the unsatisfied customers who the new owner was and his or her contact would have taken care of all of these issues. You've obviously made many "rookie moves" and unfortunately you're not thought of too highly in many people's books.

Jace has been slow in the past but it's only been because of the high volume of customers and the small staff. He always got me my graphics, stickers, and everything else we worked together on and even car wraps for my a car dealership my Dad works with in a timely manner. No need to come and make a forum bashing one guy when you all don't know what is going on. He sold the business. He offered you his help. Yes, he may have only posted and offered help because this thread was started. I would have too if people were not only trashing a company I was running at one time but my personal name. Sucks you all had a bad experience with the new owner.

Myself and 2 of my riding friends had problems when he owned the company. The manner in which he handled his business deserves at least this much shit talking in a thread. This is not the first thread I have seen regarding Impulse.

I do not have a dog in this fight or any experience with Impulse to base an opinion off of. As a business owner I can tell you there is not a successful company out there that has not had unsatisfied customers. It is how you deal with those situations that are the most telling. A customer that has a bad experience is 10 times more likely to spread the negative word than a customer who had a very positive experience. If this business treats all customers this way it will not be around for long. Hope they can get it turned around because I am more "Pro Business" than Donald Trump!

I can also tell you that the customer is NOT always right lol! Believe it or not there are people in this world that just can not be satisfied. These are the people that I usually fire as customers and refuse to do business with. They look for any reason they can to justify there own miserableness. I am speaking in general, not implying that this is the case with the customers posting on this topic.

Kiss my ass! I'm going on a month of just trying to get a reply From Impulse! All I was doing by starting this post was trying to find out what had happened to the company since I my money was taken ,I had received a proof, was told it was being printed then no replies to e-mails afterward and the phone number not being in service.I waited 2 weeks before even asking the status of my order.

I've got no dog in this fight. .....
But, it does seem wrong to keep throwing this guy under the bus. A lot of people are trashing his personal name. He's nothing more than an employee at this point. It sounds like the new owner might be floundering, and that's not jace's fault, nor concern.

He responded great until payment was made. If it wasn't his fault he would have gave them info to who was in charge. But usually no response or contact means being dodgy and a bad business person.

Decal works or any of the big ones will be the best way to go.

Hes being thrown under the bus because these people dealt with him, not the new owner.

And if the business was sold while customers had orders paid for and pending completetion, and were never made aware of an ownership change? Dude, seriously.... That is just bad business practice. I dont care how burned out you are with the job, you have obligations to your customers wether you want to deal with them or not. Not doing so is flipping the bird at them.

New owner or not, clean your mess

Some people are great workers, others are bad business owners.

MotoGraphics by MotoConcepts are the highest quality you can get from a very reputable company. Quick turn around great design and they are always running some kind of super good special.

Just curious, what's your connection to MCR/Alessi?

Although I wasn't trying to single out anyone personally in my post, maybe I should have called you something personally.

I have no issue with MCR or the Alessi family, the post just seemed personal and his profile shows all posts are about MCR/Alessi.

I also have no doubt that the MCR graphics are high quality.

Neither do I, their products I've used are top-notch and I quite enjoy seeing Mike and Tony when I see them (Even saw Jeff for first time in forever). I just don't enjoy people that push heavy agendas behind an untruthful persona.

I agree completely. I have used two company's that have both been around from the start DeCal works and Factory Effex and have NEVER had a problem and in a market where anyone can buy a printer and call themselves a graphics company no wonder there are so many of them with poor service and even worse quality. You get what you pay for.Wink

Id recommend Motopro or 180 Decals. I know a bunch of guys that run 180 around here and love them.

Decal Works saved our ass last minute several years ago by sending graphics to our hotel for the Indy trade show. We had placed an order with PG and had been waiting 3 months. Called PG a week before the show and asked where our order was and PG told us to get put on the top of the list it would cost an extre $100 .... and we had placed the order 3 months earlier.

Just had to go local this week with APE Designs when STUCK MX well ... Stuck us and stoped responding to text and phone calls

Post a reply to: IMPULSE DESIGN ? Anyone know whats up?
