I know what respect is, and it's not ramming your bike into other riders off the track and yelling at them because you couldn't pass them right away.

How do you know he didn't cut Cooper off? Wasn't it a lapper that ruined Simpson's race?

He acted like one. And it isn't the first time. I like Webb but I think he just needs to chill with the attitude sometimes, that's all.
I think that's a far more reasonable opinion - he had an immature reaction - than painting him as an idiot. And, IMO, is one which can be debated in a more reasonable manner.

Once you label a rider or a teams rider an "idiot," the conversation turns from a debate on an incident to a conversation about a person, which leads to this defensive and overly personal back-and-forth we're all becoming accustomed to in Vital.

I can definitely understand an opinion of Coop acting like an idiot, though I disagree (which I hope is allowable around here). With neither side having a full, unpartisan accounting of the facts, I don't deny that such an interpretation is one of the possible realities of what actually happened.

Looking forward to the races tomorrow, I'll stop my ramblings there. Cheers!

I don't know exactly what happened on the track, but whatever it was I'm sure it wasn't intentional. And about the Simpson thing, that's what I read on here, but the difference is Simpson probably didn't go and try to start shit with them after the race.

To be fair, everyone is just following on from Politicians examples of making things personal.

Or maybe... Webb was about to lap him, Edmonds blocked him a bit, Cooper flew into a temper and threw names at the wrong guy? It seems Cooper has been disrespectful or had problems with a lot of riders lately. Pourcel last year, Bowers in SX, then Musquin, now Edmonds. It's not always the others fault you know.

Sounds like Cooper was probably in the wrong here but i can see why he would be a little upset. You're young , emotions running high , trying to sort himself in the biggest race of his life.....and a guy that's getting lapped doesn't obey the blue flags. I can understand why he may get a little pissed!

100% positive they gave the blue flag when Febre was coming , so common sense says that the guy in 2nd place was coming too! This track and these lappers could ruin a good race. If you can't run the pace get the hell out of the way!

yes i can blame him for being a jumped up little shit, its not the first time he has thrown a little tantrum this year when he didn't get it all his own way,

and the blue flag does not mean get out of the way, it just warns you that you are about to be lapped, sometimes trying to get out of the way causes more trouble than holding your line,

Isn't "holding your line" (or the lack of) why Cooper was pissed??

So Stu didn't get a flag even a 1/3 way around the track when Febvre lapped him too? And yeah , it's good sportsmanship to let the leaders go! If that guy held up a fellow GP rider you guys would of put his head on a platter.

Like i said. You're getting lapped , get out of the way and don't ruin the race.
Blue flag means hold your line, leaders are coming. No one has to pull over. Example- Latvia got in to A final by 1 point, that`s a difference between 17th and 18th place.
I understand Webb`s frustration, but this is MXDN. Those guy`s out there don`t give a shit about our GP`s vs AMA bullshit, they are there to get their country in to A final.

Serious question, do you have a life beyond this forum? You're in every thread spewing idiotic crap 24/7. I'm mesmerized that you are even 1% relevant, and people actually take you seriously. You constantly jump to premature conclusions, and you're short minded when It comes to any other country besides the US. Grow the fuck up dude, seriously!!!!

Dude , you are my own personal little stalker aren't ya? LMFAO . You sure do seem to find me and make about your only post for one evening , criticizing what I do. I'm not home to often because I have an extremely busy life style. When I'm at home and chilled , I like to come here.

This guy has caused a bunch of shit on here Jay. He truly is a stalker of mine. Every other post he makes , it has him coming into a thread and insulting me. It's been happening since he got here , but I guess that's how this board goes. You don't get booted until you attack a mod or something.

And how you doing Jay? Are you getting up early for the moto's?

To me it was worth the $20.00. For two nights of racing " live " at this event , it's kinda special. I built myself a badass HTPC a couple years ago , so being able to watch it on my big screen in HD ( which this year it's truly a 1080P broadcast ) , is really cool. I lose a little sleep but it's all good.

Gatedrop: Just finally, you had a bit of run-in with Stuart Edmonds after the qualifying race, what was that all about?

Webb: Yeah, we just, we didn’t agree on some things! It was no big conflict, I was trying to get his attention and hit his back tyre, obviously that was disrespectful and I should have gone about it in a different way but yeah, we didn’t’ agree on a few things.
