Do you know anyone who may be able to make something special like that happen? Cool

Respect to Febvre. He just worked his way up through the pack, was patient then put a charge on with 3 laps to go to get it done.
Pretty much right on par for JG33. Really nothing special about him at all in my opinion.

I'm not sure, I was very surprised that he didn't back it down at one point considering he usually races the little bike
Race 2 will be even hotter and rougher. But yeah the Euros are probably feeling the heat as well.

I will be surprised if he does, I expect Anderson to do better in the second race!

Maybe Cairoli was just playing games and saved himself for moto 2?

I do expect Coop to have something for them next Moto, he trains hard.

Awesome race, had to do live timing but was still exciting!

I expect Webb to win the second moto. Hes young. He should be heat resistant at his age.Laughing

Anderson needs to get a start! Period! Dude kills me with his come from behind to top 5 rides.

Cairoli got the fastest lap of the race, and was well in the mix until his arm seemed to give out on him. Not that it's any great surprise, but fully fit, he would definitely have been in with a shout of winning.

What a race! Both guys looked they had the opportunity to take each other out but they didn't, so no point in anyone bitching. Just great close racing.
Did JT$ really think Millsaps would get top 5? Wow.

Not really. Lommel is all sand. Realistically the AMA guys don't ride any real sand tracks like that. It's not a good comparison at all. It'd be like dungey going over and winning almost any dirt based track

We have just as much as an advantage at GH in the heat as the GP guys do in the sand at Lommel.

Every GP event in the US has potential. I'd rather look at 5 GP races in the US then the overseas farces we've seen this and previous years.
(and even if the farces where decent i'd still rather look at 5 GP events in the US. Grinning )

Yeah I was definitely wincing as Febvre came across on Webb but its expected that stuff like that will happen when the racing is so close. Can't say moves like that didn't happen when it was RC vs JS7 back in the day

But GH is practice track to the stars in America just as Lommel is in Europe. Track knowledge along with being used to the conditions plays a part

You watch grants pass in the corner over webb, grant was epic early on in the race and pulled away from cooper.
Jg33 got third.
Great ride.

It's definitely impressive but I wouldn't say it's the same as Dungey winning in Lommel because Dungey, Tomac, Barcia, etc... aren't at Glen Helen this weekend. Grant and Nelson are the only locals as far as I know - Webb is East coast.
