When I lived in Oklahoma, most of the times I got to go ride were with Trey, Jimmy, Colt Nichols and the rest of the Oklahoma crew. I definitely miss the red dirt, but I still go ride when I'm back in town! It's always a good time getting to ride with them, bit it never failed to remind me how slow I really am!

Without a doubt Brett you are one of the nicest guys I have meet you made my GFs sons world. He loves to watch your videos. Thank you again . You going to be riding at Eugene again ? Love the videos with you and Max .
Thanks! That's so awesome to hear! I would love to go back down to Eugene and do some riding again this fall! I'm sure Max will talk me into it one of these weekends! Hope to see you guys there!

Hey Brett, good seeing you guys at Zaca on Sunday!

I'm interested in hearing your take on moto guys making a living from filming vs. racing or doing both? Do you think moto can create a bigger, "nitch" to be video part guys like in snowboarding and skating? Is it the industry that isn't behind it or just the viewership isn't there?

Thanks dude!
Definitely! It's pretty crazy to see the amount of racers who are realizing that even though results are huge, they're not everything these days. The reason you have sponsors is to sell product and you do that by getting eyeballs on those products. Unless you're a pretty big fan of the sport, you don't really know what kind of gear, goggles or anything that most guys wear. Everyone is figuring out that it's more about social media presence, videos, etc. to get their name out to the industry and even new fans who run across your content online.

I feel like I have a big advantage in that sense because I don't have to worry about training or how I'm going to get to the races the next weekend. My job allows me to focus on figuring out new places or ideas to film videos and new riders to film them with.

Worse! You can't put half the things Ron says or does on camera!

Tell us about your two stroke! When did you get it? Was it a project, or was it mint when you got it? Other than the obvious pipe, suspension, and cosmetic stuff, have you done anything to it? How bout some pics?!

Thanks for doing this, by the way, you're one lucky dude and we're lucky to have you here hanging out with us!
Thank you!

The bike is a 2007. I actually got it from a guy in Washington just a couple days before we filmed the commercial at Washougal. I just had time to throw some graphics on it and clean it a bit first. It was already in pretty good shape, but definitely needed some work put into it. The guy had bought it new and wanted to turn it into a service 500, so he cut all the tabs on the frame. When he realized how much work it was going to take, he put it up on the shelf and didn't touch it for years. He finally ended up buying a new frame and putting it all back together to sell and I happened to be the lucky one who ended up with it! Actually right now it's in my garage all torn apart. After doing the recent two stroke video at Washougal, I framed it to get the swimgarm and frame powder coated black. I'm also going to do a top end and get it all freshened up. There is no motor work done to the bike, just an FMF exhaust, RAD wheels, a 2015 front end and the other cosmetic stuff, but the bike is such a blast to ride! I will make sure to get some pictures up on my Instagram as soon as I have it all back together!

I would love to! I miss that place! I do try to come back to Missouri once in awhile when I'm back seeing family in Oklahoma, but unfortunately it doesn't happen enough!

I've always wanted to come up and ride one of those races! Maybe next year I'll have to do that since I'll hopefully have two good knees by then!

What's the hot setup on the CR?? Oops, saw someone else asked about it.

What kind of prospective career plans do you have for later on down the road?

Thanks for posting man!

I still find it hard to believe that you and I used to goof off on ronronmx.com back when we were teenagers, and now you're the #1 "non-signed" rider known to the moto industry to date.

I don't have a question, but I just wanted to say "I told you so" when I asked you to send me your autograph back when we were kids and you laughed at me.

Still hanging loud and proud in my room over a decade later dude!!

Take care of yourself, ya big moto star.

Brett, HUGE FAN!!!! You seem to always have a smile on your face. Good to see theirs riders/racers out there that are always having fun, no matter what.

1) Have you always ridden honda? I am a big honda guy myself just curious

2) Who is more fun to hang out with, Jimmy A, Georgia, or Ronnie Mac? I would assume they all have there pros and cons. (Except of course Georgia)

Do you think you can gain enough speed to make the fast 40 at Washougal?

Were you surprised by the pace?

I hope to stay with MotoSport for as long as they'll keep me! I really don't have much of a "plan" though. Things never really seem to go to plan for me anyways, so I gave up on those. Haha! As long as I get to keep riding my bike, no matter if I'm getting paid or not, I'll be happy!

It seems like almost everyone can throw down these days! I would say in the 250's, Christian Craig goes biggest. My 450 pick would be Roczen!

Thanks so much!!

I have ridden just about every bike but I just feel so comfortable on a honda and trust them so much that I can't see myself riding another color anytime soon!

As much as I love Jimmy and Georgia, Ron is way more fun to be around!

I think it's definitely doable, I just need to be more prepared for it. This year with my knee being as bad as it was, I definitely wasn't ready. Those guys are definitely so fast. The frustrating thing to me is riding with them and feeling like you couldn't possible ride a dirtbike any faster, then getting blown by on the outside by one of those guys. It definitely makes you appreciate just how good they are!

Hey Brett,

I love filming and doing edits. I was curious if you had any advise on how I could go about getting linked up with a big name to do some filming. Thanks and I love all the edits and content you're apart of!

Haha yeah Weston always tries to boss me around, but I don't let him! I haven't seen Jimmy McGarth in a minute though! He's probably one of the funniest guys I know! He is definitely not acting though, he lives the McGarth lifestyle every day!

Man, getting connections like that is pretty tough. If you can get your videos seen and posted by the right people, things will start rolling from there!

The bike that inspired the "new" song for Brett Cue!

"Juke Box Hero" by Foreigner - BC Two Stoke Hero style!

Standing in the rain, with his head hung low
Couldn't get a ticket, it was a sold out FX show
Heard the roar of the crowd, he could picture the scene
Put his ear to the wall, then like a distant scream

He heard one Two Stroke, just blew him away
He saw stars in his eyes, and the very next day
Bought a beat up two stroke in a secondhand store
Didn't know how to ride it, but he knew for sure

That one dirt bike, felt good in his hands
Didn't take long, to understand
Just one dirt bike, slung way down low
Was a one way ticket, only one way to go

So he started ridein'
Ain't never gonna stop
Gotta keep on ridein'
Someday he's gonna make it to the top

And be a Two Stroke Hero, got stars in his eyes
He's a Two Stroke Hero
He took one dirt bike, Two Stroke Hero, stars in his eyes
Two Stroke Hero, he'll come alive tonight

In a town in Oregon, in a heavy downpour
Thought he passed his own shadow, by the Motosport back door
Like a trip through the past, to that day in the rain
And that one dirt bike made his whole life change

Now he needs to keep ridein'
He just can't stop
Gotta keep on ridein'
That boy has got to stay on top

And be a Two Stroke Hero, got stars in his eyes
He's a Two Stroke Hero, got stars in his eyes
Yeah, Two Stroke Hero, got stars in his eyes
With that one dirt bike he'll come alive
Come alive tonight

Yeah, he's gotta keep ridein'
He just can't stop
Gotta keep on ridein'
That boy has got to stay on top

And be a Two Stroke Hero, got stars in his eyes
He's a Two Stroke Hero, got stars in his eyes
Just one dirt bike, put stars in his eyes
He's just a Two Stroke Hero, aah aah aah
Two Stroke Hero, Two Stroke Hero, he's got stars in his eyes
Brett Cue has Stars in his eyes

Blake Keeton says hello and if you come to the PHX area give me a shout Mr. BC!

Arkmx.
