It sure looks like a Scalvini, but it's not.

"Tony Cooksley has long talked of building one, so here in 2013, is Tony's brand new YZ250 2-stroke.

Yes, it looks like a 250F and the reason for that is it has a Peter van de Laar kit from Holland. That includes a 250f sub-frame, 250f shrouds, 250f seat, radiators are 20mm lower and a one-off aluminium gas tank which hold an extra litre.

The cone pipe is also built in Holland by the guy who used to make them for the Yamaha Factory years ago. Tony has three but this one is for mid-range. "

Here's something I was working on today, not finished but close!
Kind of my personal ultimate pit bike! lol
134cc kitted CR125 in a CRF150RB chassis,
with the swing arm , height and frame length all increased equally a bit.
(53.8 inch wheel base) Despite being hobbit sized I still feel a bit cramped on CRF150RB chassis
so went just a tab bigger everywhere on this, but still smaller than a full sized bike,
and very light. Should be a good time!

AJ, that bike is tight!!! Do you have connections to Service Powersports? If so, what do they charge to do up a frame for one of these? I am going to build one this winter and would like start with a solid platform and I know Service knows their stuff.

Lovely bike for sure..if it were mine i'd lose the white sidepanel's in favour of yellow and/or black ones.does'nt bother me at all about the "fake" pipe.bill's make a solid product and i think it looks cool.

I noticed there is a small JS7 logo on the airbox. Is the bike built for James Stewart?

Ghey. May as well put some carbon fibre looking decals on there while he's at it.

Maybe he'll race straight rhythm with that 2-stroke...? One can hope.
