Oh man those look totally different from mine.

I'll call the place I got them from tomorrow - hopefully it will be no problem to exchange.

Thanks Shaun!!!

BTW were you able to find the part number on the new ones?

Parts unlimited part #-
We do not offer just the top clamp as noted in your original inquiry but do have the complete unit set up and it should be in stock early next month. Our part number is 0603-0658.

NEKEN part #-
05094022

It's possible that the 350 frame is different from the 450 frame, which might require a different clamp. Good luck...

These guys spend a fortune on their bikes. You buy the most expensive bike and then replace everything. I can't believe the parts swatdoc has even before he has the bike. Insane and cool all at the same time. I also notice a lot of you have a screen name with doc somehow in it. I guess it makes sense why you can get all these cool goodies. Wink

RMT. You have no idea!!! LOL I currently have 2 1979 CR250's being restored by Scott at The Vintage Factory, An RC Type 2 125 replica. I'm building a twinshock RC500 replica with the help of Stevie Denton, and also building a 1979 XR600 with a C&J Racing frame - replicating the old Horsepower Factory four stokers of the past. I have multiple sets of fully rebuilt Fox Factory Forx, Simons Forks, and Fox Airshox. It's probably more like an obsession at this point as compared to a hobby. I just love bikes and want to make them as awesome as possible.

And yes... The Ti bolts look nice with the clamps.
About that aluminum piece that mounts the FI indicator light to the upper clamp............

The stock setup mounts directly to the clamp with a shouldered bolt, but I have the Ride Engineering mount for the Showa (Honda) stabilizers that gets in the way of the lower part of the plastic light piece during bar movements. They recommend remounting the white connector elsewhere and cutting off the lower plastic part of the mount.

How thick (deep) is that piece and does the bolt go all the way through? It looks like it would help push the light and connector against the number plate and away from the steering head. Do you know if that part would be available separately?

Details, details!

Just looking at the 16 hard parts catalog, they list the Neken clamps showing will fit 13-16 bikes,

Ok I heard back from Dave at Parts Unlimited, who said he confirmed with Mr Beaumont in France. That I do in fact have the '16 model clamps. The '16s have the longer silver air chambers. The bottom clamps have all the machining done to the underside. So hopefully I'm good to go. Should have my bike at dealer next week then maybe just 2 weeks to get it shipped to Hawaii. Keeping my fingers crossed

I too wanna try the Honda stabilizer on my bike. Problem is that the Ride Eng clamp is too wide to fit between the shocks of the Neken clamp. Gonna have to weld a lug on the steering stem like they do on Dungey's bike.

Ride Eng has a new bolt on bracket specifically for the 2016 KTMs. It just won't work with the Neken clamps.

Hey swatdoc,

That is too bad, those clamps look great. I didn't want to weld a post. The Ride Engineering mount fits fairly cleanly except for the Indicator Light. Does that aluminum spacer mount with the bolt going all the way through, or is there a bolt on the back of it to mount to the triple clamp. I want use the Ti bolt with the shoulder. Will have to make my own spacer.

I'll send a photo of the damper and mount when I get back from Indiana. I tried it out this week and it worked really well!

Here is the damper mounted. The upper Ride Engineering mount clamp does get in the way of the electric indicator light wires a bit.

I tried to switch the clamps from 14.5fe(15) to the 15.5(16). The air chambers hit the frame, so doesn't fit. If screw the a steering stops out enough to keep from hitting, you lose to much steering radius.
The clamps I bought secondhand don't fit my 16 350SXF, you would have to screw out the steering stops 1 and 1/2 turns to stop them touching the frame, they are now going on my sons 15 250SXF.
One good thing is that my Ohlins 2.1 steering damper does fit.

Anybody wanna sell stock rubber mounted top clamp/bar mounts from 16? Have a 14.5 FE. Looking to go rubber mounted. PHDS, Ride Eng. , or 16 top clamp? What's the cheapest option. Can't afford the Neken SFS. Unless anyone has one for sale.

I have a set I'd be willing to sell. Only as the full set of clamps/mounts though. Never used, off a 16 ktm 450sxf. Make me an offer. (505-620-8878)

You can buy them now. I bought a 250sx a couple months ago and they already had just the top sfs clamp on it.

You're right but they weren't easy to find. Now they will be readily available to dealers.

Looks like my clamps will work fine on my '16 350. The bolt on Ride Eng. damper bracket won't clear the Neken air chambers, so I'm having a chromoly bung made right now to weld onto the frame.
