It looks to me like his style has changed a little throughout the year, a little less aggressive. JMO

If what his dad is saying is true, I'm a little bummed for Kenny. Hopefully his dad is exaggerating.

Well, if it's true, it's not the first time a rider suffered by an agent playing both sides. It's hard to imagine someone hasn't had the crap sued out of them in the past, but when you think about how young and inexperienced some of these guys are it's not a surprise when it happens.

Always hope it's not the case, and hope the worst here is that KRs pop is bitter about being frozen out and is just grinding his axe, but it happens.

Kenny's been pretty banged up this year; can't be helping anyone's mood.

anyone else think the bridge is burnt at this point? I mean, they're not testing for SX yet. Seems like the writing is on the wall that Kenny is gone after this season. I bet rch has some sponsors that are a little uncomfortable at the moment.

When he does his Belgian style stand up it looks like the front end has no support n instead of being over the front of the bike standing and driving hard elbows up he looks like his elbows are strait n hes fighting the bumps and the front end from throwing him off. His forks look really messed up! I don't no much about the team but I think that his dad went a little far accusing everyone on the team of being incompetent. I think his bike looked incredible in supercross and it proved to be right because he dominated until he started having trouble. I think he should of been testing MX in late March and all of april once he was out of the title fight indoors.
In episode 4 of MX Nation Kenny describes his forks as feeling like solid steel bars, or something to that effect. Also, I believe that Kenny was able to return for the last couple of Supercross races but instead chose to prepare to defend his outdoor title rather than race the last couple SX races.

Ya'll remember that scene from that series MX Nation where Carey Hart says "It's a gamble for us as a team. If Kenny wins, it will be attributed to Ken's talent. If he looses, it will be attributed to the team" (or something like that).

Ummm, yeah, that's how it works in this sport.


I'm sure there is some truth to this. There surely isn't much evidence to defend RC, Carey, etc for their dedication. However, Kenny was RAVING about this bike at the beginning of the year. When they interviewed him at the Monster Cup he said he didn't even feel like he needed to go testing, that he could race it with the settings they gave him right off the bat. That was THE reason he left KTM. He rode the Suzuki, loved it, and that was that.

Soooo, if your starting point is that good, you don't need the best team to stay there. When one of those "incompetent" techs suggests a change, Kenny tries and and says nope, that's worse, what are they going to do, make the change anyway??? No, the worst they could've done is just not progress from where he was at the beginning of the year when Ken claimed to be super happy with the bike.

Anyway, I'm sure the team could be better, and yes the team management surely looks like they are completely dis-engaged, but that doesn't account for everything.

Assuming what he said is true. What's the worst that could happen at this point? They sack KR. Sounds like they'd be devastated if that happened.
Who's to say KR didn't give him a green light to let the Cat out of the bag?

I don't doubt a word he said. Blind Freddy can see there's problems in the RCH camp. Everything he said makes sense.

Unless Ken comes out publicly distancing himself from his Dad, you would have to think the bridge is burnt, silence now would pretty much be confirmation on what his dad has said in my mind at least.

It's hard to believe they could make a factory bike 3 seconds a lap slower than a stock bike. I guess when Chad Reed didn't like his bike he should have just had his dad do an interview with an Aus mag blaming everyone but Chad and everyone would have thought differently about it.

I didn't think he would say anything negative necessarily, I was simply relaying the fact that RC seemed (genuinely) happy with how Kenny was finishing out the season.

Towards the end of the interview they explained that they wouldn't be commenting on this particular little 'situation'.
