Yamaha bLU cRU Riders And Bikes Will Be Decked In 60th Anniversary Yellow & Black This Weekend At Unadilla

Cypress, CA - August 5, 2015Round 10 of the 2015 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship is this weekend at historic Unadilla in New Berlin, NY, the site of so many memorable Yamaha motocross wins over the years. To commemorate Yamaha Motor Corporation’s 60th Anniversary, pay tribute to those Yamaha wins at Unadilla, and hopefully add a few more victories this weekend, the Yamaha bLU cRU riders will switch to yellow-and-black.

Not only will the Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450F machines be decked out in iconic yellow-and-black livery, but also, several Yamaha riders will swap their familiar bLU cRU racing gear for a throwback yellow-and-black scheme.

Racer X had a DV12 cover with the yellow and black color scheme. 10 years ago. Where does time go? October 2005

^^^Yes. First bike was a YZ100 and Yamaha's always look faster in yellow/black. Except the IT's. Those look best in blue.

One of the greatest racing shots ever...
- The roost from Ricky's rear wheel WFO
- The height and trajectory of Chad indicating hauling ass
- The shadow under Chad
- The slack in Ricky's chain
- Chad's obvious vision to his landing spot and not caring where Ricky is
- The reaction of the dude in the semi-sombrero on the fence
- Oh yeah, the color of the Yamaha!

As TFS would say: "People and Signage!"

It is a great photo. And the yellow Yamaha makes a difference.

When I seen the 50th anniversary 450 I fell in love and it was a done deal! Had to have it that day! Lol. These bikes are the nicest color and graphics combo. I have always loved the 70s Yamaha's
