If you could live one riders career.. Who?

7/16/2015 4:43am
Probably catch some shit for this, but Deegan.

guy rode for Moto XXX, won the the most controversial SX ever (LA 97), switched over to FMX, made gazillions with MM, sold it, and now he's just a "professional moto dad". The guy has literally seen every side of the sport, and has more money in the bank than any pro racer, past, present, or future.

DeCoster. Core MX before stadiums, triples, $$$, trainers, energy drinks, etc. True Factory bikes.

To be on top of my list you'd have to be an absolute destroyer of the competition within your era. Second, you'd have to get through with relatively few injuries. And third, though I love training, you'd train only enough that it allows you to live a balanced life.

My favorite rider all time was the Hannah, but because his career was seriously hampered by injury I can't put him atop this list. MC is the only guy who fits my criteria. Destroyed all comers, was mostly injury free until late, and seemed to have fun along the way. All hail the King!

As far as a body of work inside the motocross industry, NOBODY comes close to DeCoster. His career may not have paid as well as other's mentioned but, there's more to life than money. Respect.

At the time I really thought he had it made.

Most likely MC, he won and had a boatload of fun.

But in a very close second I have to go with Mike Brown. He has been there, done that, and still races on.

He'd be the last simply for the fact that he has some of the worst crashes we've ever seen in moto.

Weird.

But if I'm in, screw moto I'll go with Rossi.

Phil Lawrence without a doubt. Had incredible talent and speed and he defined the meaning of 90's moto. Tons of chicks and all the fans loved him.

Or, Magoo.

Anyone who chooses a modern era rider is nuts, they have to work WAY too hard now a days. Old school riders had it made.

RC. Retired young, with no major injuries. Still involved in the sport and making money. I'll take my hair color though.

I would pick Travis Pastrana. Because he has done a lot race mx, FMX, rally car, Supermoto, Nascar, trophy trucks, and other crazy shit he has done on Nitro Circus. Even has his on video game that i use to playLaughing

John Penton.

Guy is made of brass, seen and done it all. In my eyes he has a career that is unmatchable considering his life experiences.

The Man
Brad Lackey
Danny LaPorte
Jeremy McGrath
RC
Stefan Everts
Jorge Prader (sp) think he is 15 now. Stay tuned.....he is the next phemom
