Well deserved. I voted for him. Dungey will win the overall at Millville this weekend. Best track on the series.

I root against him because I want a points race, "I wish him no harm" but he deserves it & he makes his own luck...

Although I agree with you, it does get the sport SOME attention. Bruce Jenner doesn't deserve a trophy for anything he's done recently.

Thats what i like to hear! The way hes riding right now we need him on the team! Damn, imagine if it was a healthy Dungey, Tomac and Webb. That would be a great team!

(I like J Mart better than Webb but think Cooper might have a little more to bring out of himself at a big high pressure race like MXdN)

In all seriousness....

I wonder, when Ryan tries to go out and get outside sponsorship, if getting an ESPY is a big selling point to say Target for instance?

I really hope he doesnt skip the MX Des Nations. It'd be a shame if he didnt go because some asshole fans get down on him for not winning.

wonder what sort of reception cooper would get in france- do you think some people might remember the 'French don't want none' comment?!

hopefully America will send a good team this year, I cant see anyone beating france on home soil, but would be good to see the how the top yanks stack up compared the top euros (as it is every year)

I don't think asshole fans are the reason Dungey isn't going to the Des Nations. My understanding is that he just wants a little break between MX and SX. But I'm not denying there are asshole fans that blame the previous years losses on RD.

I can't believe his drive to continue on at the pace he has. I was slightly surprised to hear him say that he contemplated hanging it up awhile back. Glad he didn't.
