My son works near Donavan with a guy that lives down in TJ. He, the TJ guy, had some guys casing him the other day. He said they came back again and tailed him. Saw them parked outside one morning so he didn't go to work. It is nut's down there.
I agree the need for drugs up here is the issue. If that was gone it may change. I hope for you it changes, I love going down there and have since I was little. I noticed the change beginning in the late 80's. More people flocking to the areas like Cabo and TJ because of work. And not all were the good ones.

you know you are confusing baja and el paso with mexico. theres plenty of places where its safe and where normal people live well. each country has its forms of violence. in mexico for example a crazy person has never shot a bunch of students inside a college or highschool campus.

the 4000 deaths that have been reported are usually corrupt cops or cartel members jockeying for position. in a way they are making the governments job easier by killing themselves.

theres always the lure of easy money and thats why people join these cartels and usually those are the people that get killed.

theres tourist places where we get millions of tourists and nobody gets hurt. and everybody has great fun.

fun thing is that the cartels are fighting to get to the USA and you give us a hollier than thou attitude. when its your rotten drug addicts the ones that PAY AND SUPPORT those bastards. so try to see the whole picture. and educate you new generations to stay away from drugs.

you country got rid of the 2 smokers you could do the same to drugs.

why dont you see another angle maybe some land owners are pissed about some people racing around there private properties without their permission. if some mexicans run across the border and race the texas 1000 on private land without permission how many shot mexicans would there be?

Count me in. I don't have any power tools, but my son just bought me an imitation Gerber tool from the dollar store.

interesting to read this today. Just this past weekend me and a buddy of mine where wanting to take an organized motorcycle trip down the baja by contacting one of the advertisements in Men's Journal magazine.
Wont be doing that now.

I've been to several places in Mexico many times. They have great candy and sweet strip clubs! Being the only white guy I had all the bitches on me. Almost got beat up because I didn't want to have sex with any of the girls. weird deal and I haven't been back.

You seem angry. But I do agree some of the land owners have been screwed by some promises not kept is what I have heard. Shooting someone is not the way to solve it.

It is complicated also. Your government needs to provide a way for people to make a living down there. Instead they line their own pockets and that is the way it has been forever. Instead of shooting up campuses your guys behead and put genitalia in the persons mouth, or how about kidnapping up here and cutting off the legs of someone to keep them from chasing in the after life, Sacrificed first to a diety. You need to understand the whole picture also.

i wont say Mexico is perfect its not. i wont say the people running the ship here dont line their pockets because they do. i also agree we must do something as a country to provide all the mexicans that want it education and a proper job. sorry if i sound angry maybe its the language barrier as english is my second language. im not angry. but i do not like some posts on this thread where they say all mexicans are stupid some are some arent. like on most countries. the violence as i said before is usually intra cartel stuff where they kill themselves for power or to settle scores. kidnapping on the other hand is the real enemy to productive people in this country thou.

i just wanted to point out that while the US demands drugs the problem will exist for you and for us. you as a country want Mexico to stop drugs from getting to the US. but if they do whose fault is it to buy them?

also as i said i could be an incident about people riding dirt bikes and driving trophy trucks around their land. dirt roads get thrashed fences get fucked up and cattle and horses get killed every race. maybe they are tired of paying damage inflicted on their property for several years.

i wont speak about illegal aliens going to the US because there you are right they shouldnt be there and they should be able to work here.

Yeah, blame the USA for Mexico manufacturing drugs.

If it was the other way around you could bet your Mexican ass that it would be halted immediately !

We just keep sending cans of spray paint for your party favors.

But since there is a lack of genuine, intelligence, in Mexico, it goes on.

The fact that the Mexican authorities have absolutely zero knowledge of right, from wrong, is the major issue. They sell their own mothers for a buck.

Go ahead and try to justify what is horribly wrong with that fucked up place.

sorry man but get your facts right. and then go back to reading comprenhension 101 you whine about our illegal aliens in your post when i first stated i dont support them and that they should nt be in your country.

most of the drugs the US consume are manufactured in COLOMBIA far from mexico then they are shipped to mexico and then to the final market the US.

yes as i said the government is corrupt yes they lack intelligence. yes they would sell their mom for 1 buck. but in the end all those guys are as guilty of these problem as the guy that buys coke, crystal or whichever drug was smuggled from colombia/central america/mexico to the US.

as i asked before if there was no market for drugs would people go into all this trouble to make them and sell them?

who has the root solution? as long as theres a will theres a way. so we need to keep kids away from drugs so that their customers decline and they die slowly or go to other countries where drugs are consumed.

Guns or no guns. Drugs or no drugs. Ever since the late and great Danny Hamel laid it down at over 90+ mph and left this earth because of a car on the road we've vowed to never go down there.

Yes...I was there, A federally, U-turned in front of Hamel.

He (Hamel) was doing a bit more than 90 MPH, and like in the movies, the bike exploded upon impact.

Yep I remember the I heard he had died down there. Very sad day for Kawasaki and the whole desert racing family in general. It is alot different down there now though, the streets are closed off to all traffic going out and coming back into town. Danny Hamel was the man, very sad to see him live such a short life.

You think getting rid of 2 strokes is the same as getting rid of drugs? lol. I absolutely love mexico, Ive been going down there since I was a little kid. Not only for riding, but fishing is my 2nd passion as well. Mexico is a beautiful country, but right now Baja itself is just to dangerous to chance going down there. It really hit home for me when a buddy of mine gets shot for trying to open a gate to cross through a 'ranchers" property. There are a TON of drug farms in the area they were riding, so I tend to believe it wasn't a rancher who did the shooting. How many ranchers were camo's and hide behind bushes? And the other problem I have with your post, its not illegal for US citizens to cross into mexico. With out our tourists dollars, that place is going even further to shit. Which is just going to escalate the violence even more.

I totally agree with you . The sad thing is it will never happen because the US government makes way to much money off of it. Do you know how many people would be out of a job if they legalized drugs LOLWoohoo The US government is just as corrupt as the Mexican government we are just a little bit better at hiding are tracks.

the link gives info on the place where it took place and says this guy is drug addict that is presumed to be under the influence when he attacked steve martz with a 0.22 caliber gun. believe me this guy was not in a cartel. carrying a .22 gun is like trying to be cool among the ricer car fans with 13 inch wheels.

I wont get pissed anymore when someone with an XL gas tank blocks me from hitting a jump... i guess i could have worse problems, obviously. I welcome all baja riders to stay in the states and moto my tracks. And i now understand why there are so many aliens in our country... i would... i want to go hug the mexicans in the warehouse and tell them i understand why they are here.

i know getting rid of drugs is not easy but the demand for them in the US doesnt help either.

i agree baja is dangerous thats why i said you are confusing baja and el paso with the hole country.

i know its legal for americans to cross to mexico but it may be illegal for americans as well as for mexicans to ride in certain areas or private property. why were your buddies riding through private property without even knowing who the owner is?

i have a visa to go to the US so its legal for me to be there. would it be legal for me to ride through private property? could somebody point a gun or shotgun at me if i did so?

you guys think mexico is all little shacks like baja? or all a dirty city like tijuana? i bet theres many mexicans that are fortunate enough to live well and in some cases better than many americans so quit the you need us to go and spend 100 bucks on a weekend of riding to survive.

I have been to all parts of Mexico, and must say although you are showing great pride in your country, the country is not what you are making it out to be. Also there will always be a demand for drugs. How do you expect them to get rid of that demand?

i have a visa to go to the US so its legal for me to be there. would it be legal for me to ride through private property? could somebody point a gun or shotgun at me if i did so?

you guys think mexico is all little shacks like baja? or all a dirty city like tijuana? i bet theres many mexicans that are fortunate enough to live well and in some cases better than many americans so quit the you need us to go and spend 100 bucks on a weekend of riding to survive.

I have been to all parts of Mexico, and must say although you are showing great pride in your country, the country is not what you are making it out to be. Also there will always be a demand for drugs. How do you expect them to get rid of that demand?
so you think its impossible for somebody to live better in mexico than in the us?

so where are all parts of mexico you have been?
what the fuck! my goal is to retire in a place like mexico or costa rica. these racist fucks know nothing

Hey Raton, you are wrong about the mfg location.....Pharmaceutical grade psuedo is brought in to Mexico through a port in your state (Jalisco)...then it is cooked up and shipped north.....Do you remember a certain Asian "business man" that was caught with leterally a house full of cash and proof that he was importing psuedo and he walked????? ....it's so bad that the white boys have shut down most of thier Nazi labs for the cheaper Mexican meth.....What about the Independence day parade grenading??? The truth of that is more unreal than what was put out in the media.....I like MExico, but like you hane alluded to whenever you have rampant poverty and the idea of easy money, your troubles are endless....Mxico is going the same route as Columbia in the 70's and 80's, jsut no FARC yet.....I seriously hoe your government can make some headway, there is only so much we can do on this side......

I'm glad my parents taught me to treat all as equals. It boggles my mind how some people think, but I do understand that most people are a product of their environment.
